Came here for lunch, and ordered a fried chicken bun, and a chicken fried steak bun.

The service was friendly and the staff were very proud of what they were doing and very willing to share how they make everything and exactly what does into it, and I was told pretty much everything but their buns are gluten free. The service was kind of slow, the place is pretty small and the decor is kind of lacking, so it's not somewhere you really want to hang out, it feels like a fast food or food truck style place, but we were the first or second people there, and our food took almost 20 minutes to come out. This is my main complaint.

The chicken fried steak bun wasn't quite what I was expecting. I was expecting a piece of steak pounded flat and breaded, but it was an actual hunk of steak that they managed to cook rare and keep tender. And unlike a lot of steak sandwiches I've had, the beef wasn't chewy or tough, so it was easy to eat, and clearly a quality piece and cut of meat.

The fried chicken bun was also quite good. I don't usually like pickles but they really complimented the chicken and added some tang & crunch that made the sandwich feel a bit lighter. The chicken was well fried and crispy. They had some house sauces I hadn't tried, but I'm sure some would go well on...

This place advertises itself as celiac friendly and gluten free. However, we were not happy with the amount of risks that there were in place. The restaurant is indeed not completely gluten free, and we had to ask two seperate people to have it confirmed that there was a seperate prep area for the gluten and gluten-free items, as the first one just snapped at my mother for asking. There were also issues with condiments and cross-contamination. Instead of having normal ketchup bottles, the ones they had were the old glass ones that the ketchup gets stuck in. We watched two seperate people stick their knives in the bottle to get ketchup out. That seems like a bit of an oversight on the restaurant's part and a huge risk of cross-contamination between gluten and gluten-free dishes.

The food was pretty good, but there was hair in my burger. The service was slow, and the second staff member that we spoke with was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was dirty - the tables were sticky, there was dust everywhere, the booths were covered in food debris, and the menus had chunks of food stuck on them.

I would recommend this place for takeout, but I would not recommend this place if you are celiac. Despite being advertised as celiac friendly, there were many issues in...

Brought my daughter and her 3 roommates for dinner last night. 4 of the dinners were great (those 4 dinners were 5-stars), but 1 wasn't - 1 of the roommates has celiac so she can't have gluten. For this reason, we chose to go to Little Mac's specifically for its gluten-free options.

She ordered a burger with a GF bun (server clarified GF and wrote it down), but she was served a regular bun - which she didn't realize until the car ride back to residence after dinner. As a result, she felt pretty crummy for the rest of the night.

Stuff like this happens from time to time in a restaurant, so I texted the owner to let them know about this, in case this helped avoid this happening to someone else. Didn't ask for anything in return - just wanted them to know that it happened.

Sent the text last night and got the receipt that the text was read, and as of mid-afternoon today, not a response - not even a "hey, how is she doing?"

Too bad. Little Mac's would have been the go-to place for future dinners when I took my daughter's room out. The food (minus the one dinner) was great. Sucks that they didn't seem to care when they made an honest mistake that affected...

Little Mac’s through me for a loop. My heart and stomach were set on eating some dirty delicious Mac n Cheese when I quickly realized that Little Mac’s did not offer it if it’s menu. Staff promptly explained that the name of the restaurant was not meant for Mac n Cheese but based on the a boy named “Malcom”. Once I accepted this harsh reality (obvious sarcasm on my part) I decided to give the pulled pork waffles a try. The portion was very generous! It came with fries and several sauces on the side. The pulled pork was very “meaty” and had a stewed/Bbq beef quality to it. A bit confusing at first but overall tender, smoky and tasty. Sauces were good and fries were crispy. The cornmeal based waffle is where it fell short for me. It was hard to cut though and very dry to eat. I would have skipped that portion of the meal. The pulled pork sandwich may have been a better option for me. Who knows, maybe next time…

This is THE Place, been wanting to go there since it opened, but sadly life happened, but, I was there last Saturday. My lord was it ever up to my expectation, I had fried chicken, with fries. That fried chicken is sent from the God of fried chicken themselves. It's savory, cook to the perfection, and seasoned just right. I'm allergic to wheat, so I follow the path of celiac, it's the safest way to go for me. I carry an EpiPen, and mostly avoid restaurants. Si if you are celiac, if you crave that over the moon fried chicken, wait no longer and go pay them a visit, you won't regret it. Oh, bring some extra cash for their milkshake 😁 BTW, hubby was with me, and he said it was the best darn fried chicken he ever had, and he can eat where he wants. Thanks guys, your food rock's ❣️ nestled in a cute part of Ottawa

Found this little gem on Yelp. Was really craving a fish sandwich or some fish and chips and found this location. It didn’t disappoint. My fish and chips were delicious!!! Man, I normally don’t even like coleslaw. I asked my husband if he wanted it but tried it first and I was like “NVM!” LOL. The slaw was garlicky. It was so bomb. The fish was haddock. At first I thought it was cat fish but haddock is even better. My husband said he enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The fries are fresh cut. Had some great flavor and loved how thin and crispy they are. Service was quick to order and the food came out hot and fast!!! It was a little bit cold in the restaurant so I can see the place being a little bit more popular in the summer. Overall, definitely coming back to visit next time we are here!!!
