Lorenzo's Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

M’y mom had placed an order for a walk in special, I assume because it’s considered a cheaper night the “cook” cooking this had zero respect for the fact that he burnt two of our pizzas. Upon her entering she witnessed the cook arguing with one of the drivers .. and not to mention when she arrived home the pizzas we're burnt. Because of us not eating for a while and waiting to receive the pizza we had stomached to eat some slices that were tolerable needless to say the least. When my mom called back the cook by the name of “Sam” picked up the phone and was so rude and disrespectful, I could here him yelling on the phone to her saying "you should have called when you got home". I’m soooooo appalled by this. This is a “family” restaurant I’ve been going to since I was a kid. And this guy has nearly almost ruined the name for me. Save yourself the money and quality for when Aundrey or William is working needless to say the least. I've been going to this restaurant for years and this guy really does put a bad name for...

My family went in there on the Saturday of the long weekend, since my son highly recommends this place.

The server was fantastic and I was impressed that she already knew two of the drink orders. GOOD MEMORY!! Overall the server was a 5/5.

The food, well.... My husband had a small pepperoni pizza and he only ate half of it, because the consistency of the cheese was too much for just a pepperoni pizza, compared to the other pizza that was order by another member of our party. I found that there was no consistency with the pizza products in regards to how much cheese was put on it, kind of disappointed there.

The fries were fantastic and my clubhouse was great, one of the best I have had, I found the presentation of the food well laid out as well. Food overall 3.5/5.

Store cleanliness, there was debris on the floor and it looked like it had not been swept for days. Tables, chairs were clean, but the floor was disgusting.

Well, I queried why they charge a delivery fee, I was emphatically informed it is to cover gas and maintenance for the delivery vehicles. When questioning the drivers, they advise me that they receive no compensation what-so-ever. When asking to speak to the owner or the manger on duty, I was told firstly, he just stepped outside and then he had left for the evening then I was threatened by the establishment they were calling the police on me. Frankly I feel this lie places the driver in a compromising position should he reveal & confirm the facts. A cash grab you say, hmm. Be up front pizza owners, let this delivery charge be absorbed in your pizza prices or give it to the driver who is totally responsible for the gas and maintenance of his own vehicle. Shame on you for lying. I would encourage people to not order take out pizza unless the delivery guy gets the charge. I will NEVER order pizza from any Lorenzo location again. Shame...
