Beyond disappointed after my last visit. My family has ordered from here for several years. I often found the people here to be kind and the food to be pretty good. That all changed when I tried ordering their walk-in "special" for a 1-topping pizza, it sure was special. This was a complete rip-off, I would have gotten better with a frozen pizza from the grocery store. My cheese pizza had little sauce and barely any cheese, I could see straight through to most of the crust underneath. When we complained to the man working there we were told they put less because it was on special. When we brought up the fact that it was a 1-topping pizza ordered, not a plain pizza, therefore cheese was my chosen topping, he insisted that this would be considered as extra cheese and so the extra charge applies, even though the sign for the special specifically reads that the topping options for the special include cheese, pepperoni, veggies, etc. Besides, I didn't require "extra" cheese, just an actually decent normal amount. On top of this I found him to be quite rude in the way he spoke, much different than how he was when he was accepting my money before I discovered what awaited me in that pizza box. I absolutely regret the tip I left behind, it's too bad I didn't realize the low quality of what I was given until I got home and opened the box. It's a shame that after being a loyal customer all these years this is the service I received. It's clear now to me that the kindness that I once saw may have simply been a...
Read morePlease consider this as constructive feedback. Just bought a $11.29 chicken shawarma. The person behind the counter was on his phone, placed it on the cutting board and used tongs for only half the veggies then using his bare hands for the rest. Did not see him wash his hands. While the person on the phone was yelling trying to get his attention. He yelled at them to hold on then brought the phone to the back. Came back with my chicken 5 min later. When I got to my shawarma the chicken was chewy and dry as could be you see in the photo a lot of the chicken had brittle hard bits also. No idea how the chicken was cooked or stored. Also right in the middle of the place there is a motorcycle as you attempt to walk in.
Please use proper food handling practices. Practice safe storage for foods, those veggies did not look like they were in a cold line. You could get people sick. The city offers food handlers courses.
There are papers staplers and an opened bag of something under your cash in your display stand near the boxes of treats for customers to see.
Then there is a ridden motorcycle in the middle of your store.
I wish you success during these hard times and congrats on taking the store over from the former Georgies pizza and shawarma owner.
I hope you find this feedback helpful on where you...
Read moreOkay so I don’t know where to begin….over maybe 2-3 years ago we visited Ontario and found Damas kitchen online for food close by. It was very late and we do not know the area but me and my sister decided to walk there. We had a bit to drink before hand but we used google maps to find our way. I was navigating and I kept making us go in circles and my sister was trying so hard not to be frustrated with me and it was getting really late like 10:30-11. So we’re walking and damas calls and we explain that we are lost and don’t know where to go. Well doesn’t he ask us to wait where we are and tell him the street sign and he’ll come to us. He found us and took us back to the store to get the food and for him to lock up because it was closing. We get there and pay for the food and chat a bit. He gave a bit of his backstory and why he open the store it was just amazing. We also tired a few treats he makes idk what they are called but it was amazing. The food was amazing(we got a meat pizza.) the experience was unforgettable and all he asked was us to review his store for him…so here my story. Amazing guy and place! Don’t want to miss this gem! ( sorry it took a long time but we...
