Manchu Wok — Restaurant in Ottawa

Even worse than the Billings Bridge location which says a lot considering Billings went rogue and was serving sauced chicken nuggets rather than actual Manchuwok food. At least theirs wasn't old and didn't physically make me feel ill like this location's food did.

Whom I assume is the manager has seemingly gone mad micromanaging everything, she is stingy with portions, scooping up onions and peppers one by one.

Invasive/intrusive forceful tip prompt on the card machine, forces you to enter a number, there is no "no tip" button.

Manager/owner angry when I paid with Amex, says I need to pay 3% extra but doesn't bother putting up a sign.

The general tso chicken is obviously from yesterday and is dry and tough.

Don't bother with Manchuwok unless it's the Bayshore location, they are the only location in the city that does things correctly.

My goodness, just got home after visiting this location and the lovely lady provided me and my girlfriend the absolute most amazing service I have ever received at any of these locations.I was originally turned off from this store due to previous experiences however the girl that was working the closing shift on Dec 19th singlehandedly changed my point of view towards this chain! If you could somehow clone this employee please do because you'd be the most profitable restaurant imaginable.

Their portions went down significantly. $15 for barely any food. I asked for a cup of tap water and they said no, they are out of cups. Meanwhile, a huge stack of cups are right behind them. If you want me to buy a pop, don't charge $2.25 for a tiny cup? Such a scam. And the chicken tasted so old and dry. Some of them were just breading with no chicken inside. When they scooped the beef and vegetables, it was all onion and maybe 2 slices of beef. I used to love Manchu Wok but I'll never eat at...
