MANO CITY PIZZA — Restaurant in Ottawa

Previously had given a good review but I am changing it now. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?? Not sure if it changed owners but we used to be greeted by the same friendly guy, our food was done perfectly and the portions were fresh and generous. We ordered 3 times in the last 3 months and it seems everything has changed from the apathetic woman who now answers the phones to the food quality and portions to even the delivery times. Our food used to arrive within 35 minutes in Barrhaven and subs were packed full of veggies , meat , sauce and very substantial. Our pasta dishes were full of meatballs, sauce and baked cheese on top. Chicken fingers were perfect. Something has changed in the last 2 months because now the food is terrible!!! The last two times we ordered the subs we got almost no vegetables and no sauce when we specified extra. This place has really gone downhill. The previous manager or owner would send us free desserts once in a while and we always had great service. The last two months we have gotten terrible overcooked food, very cheap portions with almost no veggies or meat in the subs and when we complained we were made to wait an additional hour to get a replacement and they didn't seem to care at all. Make sure you read the lowest ratings first. This place has gone way downhill. I have enjoyed this place for more than ten years, maybe twenty. But had a very poor experience, and will be reluctant to ever go back again.

They have deceitful and dishonest business practice concerning prices.

I ordered two items off of their menu on the counter. The fellow rang it in the cash (with no visible screen for customer to see). The bill was about five dollars more than menu prices plus tax. When questioned about the error, he just shrugged his shoulders and said the prices went up.

I asked to see a menu with current prices and he said they had none and were not expecting any.

Plan on paying about 20 per cent more than menu prices and then the hst.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. We were literally hung up on!

Our family placed a $100 order here tonight. We were notified our order would take longer than expected, fine. When we finally received our order, we quickly realized only half of it was delivered. Upon calling, we spoke to an extremely rude woman who would not tell us what happened. I was told the remainder of the order would be delivered in 40 mins, no concessions offered, no apology, no explanation. My kids are starving.

There was zero accountability or ownership of the mistake, and no discount offered for the inconvenience. I do not recommend this place.
