Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Ottawa

Figured I'd give MB another chance in ordering some food from there because my GF likes their food so hey let's give it another shot! I ordered a spicy chicken combo, still not spicy but hey I already knew that but their slider sandwich is pathertically small and if you look at my pic, it's about the size of my 2 fingers, look how small that sandwich is!!! For someone to pay $48.85 through Uber and tip on top of that for 2 simple meals what is MB offering that's making it worth the high $$$, in my opinion I still don't think it's worth the high price for something that is comparable to Popeye's where they give you larger portions! FYI: For the price I paid for Mary Brown's I could've ordered Jack Astor's for the same price with a much more higher quality food compared to MB's.

I will eventually do a review on both of the guys on Youtube so others can really see what they offer and I'll let other's be the judge and decide if their food is worth the BIG $$$!

It's average but definitely not better than Popeye's which I still think is overpriced and overrated! Their spicy burger isn't cheap but comparing it to Popeye's chicken sandwich, Popeye's is tastier and much larger so Mary Brown's loses on both flavor and portion against Popeye's. When you pay this kind of money for fried chicken you expect to get good portions and they forgot to give me my medium gravy and didn't notice until I got home with my food to notice it. It's really tough to find good fried chicken and for the price you pay, why not just go to KFC because Popeye's and Mary Brown's isn't worth the higher price. Atleast with KFC you get family meal deals where it's approx. 30-40% less and you gonna bet sh*tting that food out right after you eat it...

I don’t know who’s in charge of this place but the owner the manager and everyone working there should be ashamed off themselves!! I been ordering for 2 months now and I don’t know why I keep ordering!!! I have been in the food and beverage industry for 15 years and never in my life would I think it’s ok to send paying customers hot pop!!!! Everytime I ordered from here the pop is hot!! WHY WOULD YOU THINK ITS OF Ok to Constantly keep sending people hot pop?!!!!!!! Why do you think this is ok!!!! And that’s not all they always send the order incorrectly!!!!! How you MISSS AN Entire order?!!!!!!! All the time!! How you Miss and entire item from the order who’s packing the delivery orders they should be fired!! This is constantly at night day mid day!!! I know the own of my restaurant would never allow these types of incompetence because him and his managers actually care about customer service!!!! You send the food wrong everytime! Stop talking in the kitchen and pay attention to the employees and trained them properly, because I know what goes on in the kitchen you need to pay attention to was coming out of your kitchen!!! Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with no sauce on the app for a person who can't tolerate the sauce. It had sauce on it. I come back to get it replaced and the person at the front argues that "there is no MB sauce on the sandwich its southwest sauce". The paper receipt says "no MB sauce", the app and digital receipt says "no sauce". I didn't think that I'd have to argue about what "no sauce" means, nor is it my fault that the MB app doesn't label it correctly on your printer. Eventually they agree to remake the sandwich.

Now, I ordered two dipping sauces with an order of tenders. Honey dill, and an MB sauce. I told this person one of them was missing, and they said "we don't have MB sauce anymore." Okay. I still ordered two sauces. And I don't understand why they would send just one sauce if they're out of one of those that were ordered. Maybe the app is the problem and it shouldn't be in there, or maybe the person packing the food can make an executive decision about how many sauces a person is expecting and just toss a second one to replace the one that was ordered in there.
