Honestly the Bronson McDonald’s might just be number 1 on my list for biggest glowdowns in fast food history.
Picture this, it’s 2018 on a cold February day, second period just ended which means it’s lunch time. You and your buddies decide to head to don’s. it’s peak lunch time, don’s is packed to brim with high schoolers, crackheads, elderly people, just about anyone and everyone. You order your $5 dollar McDouble meal. The sheer number of people and order ahead of you might have you feeling slightly overwhelmed and anxious by the BOOM, in a short mere 5 minutes you’re taking your first bite of your burger… You feel at home, safe, reassured.. Like Ronald McDonald himself flew down from the heavens and gave you a gentle kiss on the forehead telling you everything was going to be ok. The bustling atmosphere is electric, yet tranquil as despite all the chaos you and your friends are joking around, enjoying your meals at a nice window side table where you have just enough space to breath and relax. It is bright spacious, lively and has an effortless flow… almost brings a tear to my eye….. it’s perfect….
Fast forward, the year is 2024, it’s warm Friday night and you and your friends are out enjoying the weather. On your night stroll the Bronson McDonald’s just happens to be in your direction you are walking.. after months of random visits to McDonald’s locations around the globe you have collected enough points through the McDonald app to claim a free ice cream cone!!! So you figure, why the hell not, now is the perfect time to claim this reward. I’ll just pop in, grab my ice cream and be on my way… little did you know what was about to happen…… you walk through the doors which are now on the other side of the building and boom. Disoriented with the new renovations that had occurred you navigate your self around an oddly placed wall to the kiosk nearly bumping shoulders with three people. You feel claustrophobic. Like the white lifeless concrete walls are closing in on you as the macdonals you once loved has halved in size. In a haze you place your order. Even though the line up is small, it feels much larger. You escape to your friends at a high seated table around the corner. 5 minutes go by… 10 minutes, 15 minutes… still your number has not been called. The bright lights and cold stale atmosphere is all consuming and makes you question all your life choice that led you to this point… was it worth it? “779” the worker says.. an overwhelming sense of relief flows through your body. You grab your cone and make a swift exit… as you enjoy your free ice cream on the way home you think to yourself what happened? And you feel nostalgic for something you never would have thought you’d feel nostalgia about.. the old Bronny Don’s… where did things go wrong.
To be fair, thing could be worse. The Bronson McDonald’s is still a major step up from the disgrace of institution that is the dreaded Bank and fifth Macdonald’s. But still, the downfall of the Bronson McDonald’s needs to be studied.

Read moreI had two bad exp here. First time I came in the early morning, They said they are closed because they need to prepare tje breakfast between 4 and 5am. If you have one hour not available everyday then dont say you are 24hours open. And this time I went there and ordered some food, the machine gives me a number and they subjectively remove my order from their waiting list without serving any food. Half an hour later I asked them where is my food and they said someone already picked it. I confirmed they had never called my order number. If you order some food that they need lots of time to make, they will subjectively remove your order and this can make their working performance better. Because the system shows that everyone got the food on time. But if they remove your order without serving you, they must remember to serve you later on their mind. Sometimes they forgot who has been removed by them and your order could be never served. The problem comes from the management. These stuffs does not follow the manipulation rules for long time and they seems well adapt this working flow. They should remove the order number right on time when they provide the food. But they always remove the order before they can provide the food. When they cannot prepare the food on time, they will remove the order for sure. Thats very bad it cannot make you be served on time. But in their system you are. And they can even forget your order after removing it. They tried to find some excuse to explain today's problem. But I completely know what they...
Read moreThe McDonald's on Bronson Avenue had an odour like a urinal very off-putting the cleansing of the place well, wasn't up standard as far as I'm concerned and the bathroom is always a mess and locked and the people that serve you after you've made your order through the computer wall so impersonal a number is called out which is your sand you have to come up to the counter they slam your bag of food and they slam a cup down that's empty and just without even looking at the person yep have a good day bye is it if you get that which we didn't and then immediately walk off to the next order I understand that they're busy but she didn't even look up, she didn't even smile she didn't even say have a good night she didn't say anything other than the number of our order and then handed it off too my brother myself watching this is disappointing considering McDonald's while they boast service with a smile now the people are so run down overworked underpaid that they have no time or energy to smile because there is nothing to smile about and that's sad I feel for them that's all and not all McDonald's are like that by the way I'm only speaking about the one on Bronson Avenue all right you asked I told that's how saw it!! Have a good/ night bye-bye...
