I've Been A Regular Customer Since The Ogilvie Location Opened, Spent A lot there, And Now, After The Way I Was Treated Today, I Will No Longer Be Back.
The Food Is Really Good, And So Is The Atmosphere For The Most Part, Except For The Bald, Short Guy Who Im Guessing Is Store Manager. Every Time This Man Has Served Me, Something Has Gone Wrong.
The First Time, He Did Not Honour The Online Coupon I Had For The Family Platter. He Did Indeed Charge Me Full Price, Even After I Showed Him The Coupon And He Went Ahead And Made The Meal Anyway, Waiting To Tell Me Until I Was Paying. When I Asked Him About This, He Shrugged It Off And Said He Would Not Reduce The Cost Of The Platter. I Let It Go And Went Home.
Today Was My Last Visit, I ordered a Mixed Platter To Go, I Asked For A Very Small Amount Of Hummus And Garlic On Top Of The Meat Instead Of Sesame Sauce, After I Had Paid For My Meal, I Noticed That The Manager (Who Served Me At The Cash) Forgot My Garlic And Hummus Dips That Come On The Side, I Asked Him For Them, And He Replied "I Already Put Some On Top". I Told Him That It Was A Very Small Amount, And That I Would Like What I Had Just Paid For. He Refused. Upset, I Walked Out With My Food, However I Decided That I Wasn't Going To Put Up With Being Treated That Way, And Walked Back In And Asked For A Refund, And Of Course, He Wouldn't Give Me One. I Could Not Honestly Believe What He Was Telling Me. He Told Me That Because I Walked Out The Door, And Then Walked Right Back In Not Even 5 Seconds Later, That Because I Walked Out With My Food, He Wouldn't Refund My Money.
This Is The Last Time I Will Ever Go There. I Feel Like My Business Isn't Worth It To Them. Ive Never Been Rude, Or Said Anything Nasty To Warrant The Way I Was Treated.

I called around 11am to place an order for pick up. The employee on the phone was extremely impolite and told me they did not accept orders via phone and then changed his mind and allowed me to place my order. As I was telling him my order, he interupted me and said 'wow, maam, I cant do this, I have customers coming into the store', he then passed the phone to his colleague. When I asked if I could resume my order, he said 'maam, we dont take orders over the phone'. OK, please make up your mind as this is a total waste of my time. Why are you answering the phone, or why do you even have a phone number if you cant take orders? Not to mention that the information on your website is very misleading. Anyway, I proceeded to go to the store in person to place my order. Im all about second chances, especially during these hard times. Well let me tell you, this was a BIG mistake... As I was giving my order to the employee in front of me, I didnt feel like he was listening to me. When I asked for my receipt, he pretended he didnt hear me and went on to help the next customer. Patient, caring, communicated well and showed amazing customer service! (He told me the garlic sauce is not vegan.) (After reading reviews must have been moe :p ) Shawarma was fresh, affordable and filling! Overall a great experience!!! Will be going back for sure!!!!...... yeeeaahhh sooo I went back the next day around noon on June 28, different people served me and had a complete opposite experience so not sure what to think anymore. I guess it depends who serve's you. Large Shawarma half filled, was more like a small, quickly said it was like they did not care. Nothing I hate more than leaving still hungry AND still thirsty! 4 stars for the 1st experience (5 stars if garlic sauce is vegan), 2 stars for the 2nd experience....
