I love finding places like this, it reminds me of New Jersey. The shopping plaza is hidden, and doesn’t look like much. However this place is one heck of a secret. The way they make the bread is special, and their secret sauce is like a wing sauce recipe that I haven’t tasted in years. The biggest thing for me is that I am a white boy and this is clearly the Arab hangout: not only was the guy working the counter nice to me, you could tell he was genuinely psyched that I found the place and wanted to try. You can really see that he takes pride in what he does! A rare thing to find a business like this nowadays. The food is incredible, SUPER cheap, and when the guy rang up my order he actually skipped the part where the machine asks for a tip…I mean who does that? I have never seen anyone do that before. So instead of a tip I leave this review. I dig that style! There is also the roastery place 2 doors down, which is worth checking out. We’ve been to Mr. Samoona Grill & Bakery a couple of times now, and every visit confirms why it's a hidden gem. The dining room is cozy and small, giving it a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe—perfect for enjoying authentic Middle Eastern comfort food.

The star of the meal? The beef kebabs. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right. The meat was tender with a rich, smoky flavor, and the presentation on the wooden platter with grilled vegetables, pickled turnips, and fresh herbs made it all the more inviting.

We also enjoyed the sides—fresh flatbread, creamy hummus, and labneh topped with a touch of sumac. The whole spread felt generous and thoughtfully prepared. Even the Ayran (a yogurt drink) added a refreshing balance to the grilled meats.
