I used to frequent New York Fries some 30 years ago, when I was a student, and I've been there again several times over the past few years, but today I had to write a review because I was impressed by their customer service. I'm not sure if this is how their employees are trained, or if it's just the initiative of that employee who prepared my meal, but you don't expect excellent customer service at a fast food restaurant, so I was surprised when the employee asked me how I was doing and then elaborated by asking what else I have planned for the day!
Asfor the food, the fries there are always excellent. I ordered a traditional poutine ... their gravy is rich and thick the way I like it. I also ordered a traditional hot dog (ketchup, mustard and relish) ... it was juicy, and the bun super soft. The drink came in an environmentally friendly cup, and I love that they offer free refills.

I paid over $16 for a container of soggy under cooked fries with no gravy and the bacon bits received I wasn't even able to chew and nearly choked on it. With fries sticking out and gravy and some cheese in the top. This time the box was completely closed on both with gravy and maybe 6 curds in each in the middle.
