This Walmart is very big, it has a great selection of food, clothes, cleaning supplies, everything a grocery store needs. The Employees are nice especially 2 I forgot there names but I’ve known them for years and they’re always great! Some employees are very bitchy! Or cocky…but whatever! It’s usually packed especially on the weekends were you have to pray to god you can get a cart of your doing a big shopping because people take all the carts and they don’t need much they can use a basket! And they do have great selection but here’s the thing, they don’t have lots of stuff Walmart does, now I’m not trying to be a jerk but I need this hair serum and tell me why each other Walmart I’ve been to they had THAT serum, when I came here it didn’t seem like it! And some other things to? Like, they put it on their website saying it’s there but then when you go there it’s really not which makes me and my mom waste our time, they should update the website and stuff…I hope this year they put it because I feel like they REFUSE to put some stuff on the shelves, I’m not sure if their not allowed or whatever! I’ve been going here for 6 years, each year was different of course but still, I bought so much stuff here like Christmas, birthday gifts, stuff for my home, everything else, I basically grew up with this Walmart and it’s easy to go to, and it does have functioning washrooms which are surprisingly clean cause when I go to different Walmarts it’s not that clean, and the water fountains are clean to! The Walmart is generally clean, and the electric section is good to, just when they try to display Apple or Samsung things it’s not there lmao. Now the real question is, would I recommend this Walmart? Yes, but always remember don’t get your hopes up when it comes to buying something you saw online cause they may not have it on the store, and don’t be like ā€˜But Natty!’ No, just trust me I know maybe it might be there but always be careful, and I would recommend if you love near Lycee claudel via Hurdman and Alta vista if you live near those.

I despise using the self checkout because of these two. In October they accused me of stealing my own Moose Knuckles coat. Today it got a little more interesting. As I’m finishing scanning and paying for my items the old girl comes up behind me and pushes my cart away then starts pressing things on the computer I was just using. I ask ā€œMay I help you?ā€ She goes ā€œI am doing my job.ā€ In the most rudest tone possible while looking at me like she hates the fact that I am alive. So I ask ā€œWhat’s your job, being rude?ā€ As she ignores me and prints a receipt of my purchase so just made. Mind you I have my own receipt already put away in my wallet, I was at the point of packing my groceries in my bag. She then grabs the receipt as she goes back to her station at self checkout where her the other girl in the picture and another staff member all look at the receipt and at my cart while looking at each other in unison as while saying they remember me stealing and they gotta make sure I’m not stealing. I said ā€œStealing what, the items I already paid for?ā€ Guess what happens next? She calls security and asks police to be called on me…. šŸ˜‚šŸ«µ It’s getting to a point where instead of getting sad and upset I get delighted and joyful whenever I’m being discriminated against because of my skin colour because that means I’m about to get something good out of the situation. Because this has been happening my girlfriend called the store and asked the management to look into the situation and the manager said he already knows what she is talking about. These staff members continuously harass other customers with no remorse. Is this the new normal? What happened to customer service etiquette?

Although it is a Walmart, it has to be the best kept, tidiest, and friendly staff for a Walmart in the Ottawa area. For a small store they have everything you need and act as a pick up location for online orders. The overall tidiness is impressive while to reiterate the staff ensure a positive experience. Nov 14, 2019 UPDATE Feb 4, 2020 I would be remiss not to again highlight this store. Having a strange pricing issue with an item that was posted vs. the scanning price that was actually much higher, the Manager Lisa was unwavering in her support and in demonstrating excellence in customer service. Everything was sorted out effortlessly and with the understand in wanting to honour the customer. NOTE ALL OTHER WALMARTS : there is something to be said for this store, staff, customer service. Have a visit and see why this store location is worth going to hands down!

It was my first time ordering online with Walmart. It is one of the worst experiences I ever had placing an order online because of the following reasons:

Majority of the items (all grocery items, nothing of special kind, later on I easily purchased all those by VISITING a Walmart Branch) that I selected at the time of placing the order, and were available at that time, were later on cancelled because of unavailability, which shows major flaw in their system. They have no clue if an item is available or not. Once the order is confirmed it must be Walmart responsibility to ensure customer gets the item. I can understand if it happens for one of two items from the cart only but all the main items from my orders were cancelled because of unavailability.

Hours after confirming the order through email Walmart informed me that these items are not available. As I said earlier those were the items that I mainly required. Once I received the message, I immediately tried to cancel the order but to my surprise the system allows you to cancel the order within half an hour only. Imagine, Walmart informs you that some of the items are not available hours after you place the order when you have no option to cancel the order. That is exactly what happened to me. When I saw that the main items that I wanted were unavailable I tried to cancel the order but couldn't do it as the time had already lapsed.

Walmart almost forces you to pay tips to the driver. On my order 10% of the tip was automatically applied and there was no button to cancel it and there was no help available to understand how to edit it. I searched on Walmart help page but could not find anything. Then I decided to move on with the tip. At the very last page I said a table that allows you to edit the tip amount. I went there and fixed it.

As I was unable to cancel the order due to the reasons mentioned above, I had to pay the delivery charged for unimportant items.

After having this worst online experience of my life, I have decided never to place an online order to Walmart. Walmart, being a reputed organization, in my opinion, should take these notes seriously and try to fix these flaws as soon as possible if they want to excel in the online industry. Once the order is placed to arrange the items even if they need to delivery, it through other branches. If it is not possible, Walmart MUST give sufficient time to the customer to cancel the order if Walmart makes any changes to the order. What is the benefit of informing the customer that some of the items will not be delivered when he/she cannot cancel the order if those items were the main items for him/her. In case Walmart does not want the customer to cancel the order then they should not charge the customer for delivery charges. So that customer may be able to place the order for those items to some other branch. What Walmart is doing right now is causing customer inconvenience as well as extra delivery charges as the customer will have to pay for the delivery again once he/she places the order to some other branch and who knows he/she will get the same experience from that branch too. My last point is regarding the Tip to the driver. Walmart should make it very clear that it is editable at a later stage. The Walmart should not charge it in the first place and let the customer decide it themselves. Automatic charging it and then giving it no clue that it is editable at the last page of before completing the is not the best practice. If I remember it right, the option to edit the tips was even after providing the credit...

The petite middle aged Asian woman who works as a clerk at the return desk at this Billings Walmart is just unpleasant and bizarre. If she doesn't like the look of you personally, or she's seen you before, then it's up to her own discretion what she will and won't return, if any, no matter how small the amount, with or without a receipt, even with valid ID. I'd last been there well over a year ago and she then very reluctantly and questioningly did 3 returns for a grand total of about $40 on a gift card (when you don't have a receipt) and I guess she never forgets a face that she doesn't like because when I tried to return 2 items yesterday for around $30 without a receipt, she flat out refused. The items were in unused, new condition with tags, not expired, not food, drug, or personal items.

In fact, 2 years ago when I had receipts she initially refused to return some unopened conditioner which I had bought, (I mistook it for shampoo- similar packaging), on the basis that it could have been used, which was absurd. I suggested she weigh a new bottle with the one that I was trying to return if she was that concerned and then having reached the limits of my patience, I asked to see the manager. She didn't call him and instead scowled and did the return. But basically she's calling random people thieves and liars and treats you as such whenever you try to do what should be a simple return. And I've done other returns here with different clerks and had no problems. I buy some things for elderly handicapped relatives, and sometimes they want something different, (and sometimes receipts get lost), so returns are inevitable and what used to make Walmart so appealing was their accessible return policy. It would also be alot easier if they allowed you to email the receipt to yourself when at the register/point of purchase like they do at Home Depot.

It's not so much that I take it personally, but that it's SO frustrating and time consuming and erratic. Not to mention having to stand in line for 20 minutes before you even hit the brick wall that is this woman. I'd only gone to this Walmart if I happened to be going to the Billings Mall for something else, thinking I'd save time. It turns out to be anything but.

If you ever go here and see her angry face at the return desk, I'd advise either turning away and go to the other Walmarts, which I've had no problem returning things to, or be prepared for time consuming frustration, discomfort and veiled accusations. Management needs to lose this "discretionary" clause when it comes to allowing this woman to "judge" a person's character or appearance (and mine is perfectly normal), and instead clearly base it on a non-franchise/company wide, preset amount/refund maximum limit, and type and condition of items that it will...

I would give zero stars if possible. The times I have frequented this shop, it has always been a nightmare. From the workers to the other consumers. I was asking a worker for directions to get back into the mall, and as soon as she spoke to me one of her colleagues came behind her and told her to ā€œhurry up with this.ā€ I explained to the very rude lady that her coworker was simply helping me and patience is a virtue. Super disrespectful that she felt comfortable talking to her coworker like that in front of customers.

Now onto the customers. What the actual heck tate is wrong with people these days? no one has a brain to extend common courtesy to other people. anytime me or my friends have come here, we get the nastiest stares from everyone for no reason

a couple customers were so comfortable exclaiming how ā€œeveryone who works here has an accent. i thought this was Canadaā€ As a Canadian myself, it is very sad how comfortable our society has become with spewing hatred out loud. Everyone has a right to make a living, and international students and immigrants are here to enhance their opportunity.

if you don’t understand something, simply ask them to repeat it or write it down for you. i can understand it’s frustrating when there is a language barrier, but i thought the tossed salad was what made Canada so unique. we need to be kinder to one another. This is not the free will God had envisioned for us.

one fossil was rushing me as i was checking my stuff out with a cashier, and ended up shoving my cart into the wall. there’s always screaming and chaos. i understand theft has been a huge issue lately, but i’m too anxious and hate being in big grocery stores to even contemplate being a thief and do not appreciate being treated as such.

it’s such a DISGUSTING environment, and definitely very telling of the kind of behaviour walmart embraces. everyone is miserable and tries to take it out on you without having the emotional regulation to mind their own business and continue with their shopping.

With all that said, shop here if you’re doing a study or a social experiment if you want to learn about the kind of turn humanity has taken for the worst. I understand why we have become so selfish and individualistic, but something needs to change. Society cannot continue in this ā€˜crabs in a bucket’ way. Pray for world unity. I pray things do not continue to become worse, before it...
