Pho Bo Ga King is my go-to destination when I'm in the mood for an authentic and satisfying bowl of Pho. This hidden gem has consistently delivered high-quality, delicious Vietnamese cuisine, and has won a special place in my heart.
The Pho here is exemplary. The broth is flavorful and rich, a testament to the hours spent simmering it to extract the full depth of flavors. The noodles are cooked just right, maintaining that essential bounce and bite, while the meat, whether you opt for beef or chicken, is tender and well-seasoned.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the Pho, but their menu offers a range of other mouth-watering Vietnamese dishes too. The spring rolls are crispy and flavorful, and the Bun Cha is another favorite, offering a great balance of textures and flavors.
Portions at Pho Bo Ga King are generous, making it great value for money. Additionally, they offer a variety of sauces and fresh herbs on the side, allowing you to customize your dish to your taste.
The staff here is always friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The environment is warm and cozy, making it a great place to enjoy a comforting...
Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, but my recent visit to this restaurant was such a letdown that I felt it necessary to share.
From the moment we sat down, the service was shockingly poor. The server completely forgot to take our order. After waiting 30 minutes with no acknowledgment, we had to walk up to him to remind him—only to find him scrolling on his phone the entire time. Adding insult to injury, we weren’t even given water while we waited.
When our food finally arrived, it didn’t get much better. I ordered the pho, but the broth was bland and completely lacked any flavor—nothing like the rich, aromatic broth you’d expect. To top it off, we were charged an unexpected $3 fee for extra lime, which the server never mentioned when we asked for it. And when it came time to pay, there was an additional 50-cent charge for using a card.
Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the inattentive service, lackluster food, and surprise charges, I can’t say I’d recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and...
Read moreThis is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. They have an absolute lack of respect for their customers (or just humans in general). I watched as a waitress coughed repeatedly into her open hands, all over a menu (she used it and coughed right into it) and without covering her mouth at all. Sniffling and coughing all over the kitchen area - and using her hands to wipe her running nose. This was a hard, productive mucus cough. She went from THAT to using both hands to shape the bean sprouts about to be served. I couldn't believe it. The mucus on her hands probably wasn't even dry yet. In my horror, I asked "is that for us?!" She said "yes", her hands still actually on our food. I told her I just watched her cough into her hands over a dozen times and now she is touching our food. Her response was to RINSE HER HANDS... Um, I would like to cancel my order. She might as well just cough directly into my mouth....
