Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

This evening I decided to order two pizza for delivery at 638 pm . After about 1 hour I called the main number to see what was going on. I was told it was out for delivery but they couldn't tell me when it would come (keep in mind I live like less then 10 min away) At 820 pm I get a message saying it was delivered ... however they were not. Nothing was delivered here. I then called the number again, only to be told it was out for delivery again. Its now almost 2 hours after I ordered it, So I cancelled the order. I was told i would get my money back and it would take 3 to 5 days on my Visa . If you order from Pizza Pizza do yourself a favor and don't pre pay it online. The customer service reps I feel were lying to me and giving me the run around. Around 840 pm a driver showed up with the pizza. I told them I canceled the order and they said they were told to give me the pizza. I took it , however I will not be eating it. I have been a customer for many years and due to my line of work I have had food from several pizza pizza locations which weren't too bad and just mediocre enough to be edible which I dont mind every now and then. With that said, this location on Wellington shoud be reviewed by headquarters for its inconsistency as well as quality of their products and rude staff. Every time I call to place an order I try to get them to deliver to my place from 1779 carling Avenue which is the closest location and has the best service from food quality to friendliest staff in my opinion, the call center tells me they cant because Wellington is the default location in their system but yet when I order on the app or website for some reason i can pick the location. None of this makes sense to me. The people at the call center are also very incompetent and need more training in customer service skills. Has been very inconsistent lately. This was my order from tonight. It's like they threw the toppings on opposite sides and into the oven. I guess I'll be rolling the dice with Domino's from now on.

Update: new staff that know how to make a pizza. They're doing a good job. Keep it up!

Update Dec/2024: ordered a medium 2 topping pizza but it looks like they tried to stretch out a small pizza since it was barely 11 inches. Pizza was standard Pizza Pizza pizza, just feel a little short changed.

Update Jan/2025: ordered 2 medium pizza with wings. I asked Jastin not to cut the pizzas. Unfortunately and understandably, probably by reflects, they cut the pizzas. Regardless they were both well made and topped. I was concerned about the bottom getting soggy but luckily they weren't. The chicken wings were pretty good. I definitely recommend trying them.
