I found the staff rude. And if you have a credit note with this store, they don't count the credit note amount when calculating whether you need to pay shipping-- this makes zero sense, and no other store does this (boutique or not), because a credit note means the store already has your money. I was planning on spending well over the minimum that's needed for free shipping, partially with a credit note that I was gifted, but I was still required to pay shipping. Often Indigenous folks are deterred by colonial-systemic policies or there is a lot of push back to due to a lack of cultural competency training on behalf of management.
