Update: August 2025 - ordered two Pickle Glazed Chicken Sandwiches. The sandwich is lacking. It's not the workers fault. The pickle glaze gets absorbed into the bread. It also doesn't help that the sandwiches are packed vertically, making the bottoms a slightly wet.

The pickle glaze is too thin. Might be better with mayo. I was happy I got to try it but you're not missing out if you haven't.

Pickles tasted more like cucumbers.

July 2025 - ordered 10 piece spicy chicken tenders, coleslaw, poutine, and biscuits through the app.

I also got 3 piece spicy chicken tenders from redeeming 600 popeyes points, and i filled out the survey on the back of the reciept to get a free piece of spicy chicken(thigh) with a biscuit after purchasing a medium drink.

Hannan and his team are working hard and doing a GREAT job! It was upset to see anUberEats driver lose his patience with them. He wasn't even there long and it felt like it was almost 40 degrees inside. I couldn't work in that heat. Thank you guys!

The spicy chicken tenders were a decent size. They tossed in an extra one too, lucky me! The tenders are crispy, hot and spicy with plenty chicken inside.

The best dip to get in my opinion is the sweet heat, or the honey mustard. I find the tenders are salty, so the blackened ranch doesn't pair well, the flavours get lost.

The cajun poutine is definitely not lacking seasoning, but could've used more cheese curds.

The signature spicy chicken was crispy, hot and delicious. A little greasy, as you'd expect fried chicken to be.

The coleslaw is fresh, crispy, and quite good. Way better than KFC or the container you'd buy at the grocery store. It has big cuts of cabbage and has just the right amount of creamy dressing.

The biscuits were soft. One biscuit in the batch looked overcooked, and it turned out to be the best one! Nice crispy edge and it's even better with butter.

Update: March 2025 - BOGO chicken sandwiches, 2 desserts, chicken nuggets and a side of ghost pepper sauce.

Everything was well made and the service was good and fast.

Chicken sandwiches were nice and big, my only complaint is there a lot of crispy bit I'm not a fan of. I brushed them off easily.

Chicken nuggets are alright but once again, the tenders are best.

The apple cinnamon and cream cheese strawberry pies were alright, not a must try but good if you want a sweet treat.

The ghost pepper sauce didn't hit like the first time but still good and spicy.

First review: Had to try the NEW ghost pepper chicken sandwich. It's didn't disappoint. It's got some kick, the chicken was crispy as usual, even after being delivered. The pickles were a little salty but were still crispy and good. I recommend asking for a side of ghost pepper sauce.

I have no idea why I always get the Mac n "cheese". It's always bland and taste nothing like cheese. Kraft dinner has more cheese flavour.

Chicken nuggest are alright but they don't compare to...

I took 1 star off for manager wearing mask on his chin and multiple staff not wearing masks. I took another star off for lack of customer service of male manager. The food is 5* but with those deduction this location is only 3 star when the male manager is there.

I first had Popeye in New Orleans about 16 years ago and it is one of my occasional indulgence meals. It is high fat and high sodium but so tasty. I really like the food but stores in Ottawa has their ups and downs.

All the Ottawa franchises are owned by the same owner. Today at 8:30pm I found a male manager I had a run in with at another store before. Not a single staff was wearing their face mask properly despite requiring customers to do so.

The manager was wearing the face mask on his chin and other 2 counter staff on chin or on one ear by one loop. The fry cook I think was not wearing one at all. The more frequent female manager runs a far tighter ship and she is more customer service oriented. One counter staff saw me looking at their non compliant face masks and went away and put it on properly.

I think if I see the male manager again in the store I will turn around and leave without buying anything since he blatantly do not follow regulation and public health rules. When he is there, I think staff do not follow safety rules since he ignores them.

I went into the bank st location it was absolutely disgusting the doubke garbage cans as you walk into this place are right as you walk in the both cans were overflowing with food garbage and the top where the trays go were aslo stacked with garbage I have pictures yes it does get busy but please if your any kind of supervisor or staff and you know your that busy would you not come out to the floor and check it out over flowing like this dosnt happen In an hour I will never ever step foot in this place again I called from out side the lady that answered just sat on the phone as I told her it was over flowing she left me on hold for 4 mins then hung up on me no apology just click Wow you guys need a district manager to smarten you up very very discusted, and discouraged I have pictures I would like a manager to contact me or district manager head office Tues June 27 2023 about 845pm there so many people in the lobby waiting for food go clean your tables and tidy up your garbage it right as you walk in beside the order counter Wow fast food has really gone down please reach out to me for the pictures as I can see the post before me had pictures but I couldn't add here ....
