Old / Previous Review: “Delicious food as always 🤤” New Review: Had a really unhappy experience with my server regarding a dish (Veg. jaipuri) which we are ordering since last few months now and the north indian food Punjabi quality has been deteriorated as the Chef has changed inside the kitchen(server confirmed). She (my bad for not taking her name) was rude, non compassionate of her customers and arrogant. We always order Veg. Jaipuri as the main course and as always we were expecting it to be good, but the veg. Jaipuri we got was filled with carrots on top like literally 9-10 carrots covering the bowl. So, upon politely asking our sever right away that the dish is not something we were expecting the server’s first words were - “You might not have ordered correctly but let me check” then upon checking she told us that it is in-fact veg. jaipuri. Meanwhile as we were 4 friends, someone from our side said that there is more gravy in this dish and currently it only has more carrots. To which her reply was - “No sir this suppose to be like this and if you have ordered before then do you have a receipt of your previous visit” and we were like SERIOUSLY!!! We know veg. Jaipuri does not have just gravy but our meaning of saying that was referring to the amount of carrots we can see on the top of the dish and no veggies. After all this argument we said we don’t want the dish as the garlic naan were also very dry on order and it didn’t had any cilantro or maybe butter on it. But, her response was that she will still charge me for the rejected dish so we ordered another dish which she was saying from start that you might have ordered that dish (we tried this dish for the first time- veg handi not good). And the cherry on top is when I politely and with smile gave her my review on her service and chef’s work while leaving she replied - “It is your point of view!!”. no sorries no apologies for confusion no kind of customer service. Message to OWNERS : We stopped going to Masakali because of a rude server over there and we thought Rang De was different. Is this the customer service we get when you are not around in the restaurant ???? Me and my friends are NEVER going back there to eat north indian Punjabi food!

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say that my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that something was amiss. The issues began with the Samosa Chaat, a dish that lacked any semblance of flavor, leaving me thoroughly disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking an enjoyable culinary experience. To compound the disappointment, the service was staggeringly subpar. Our order of separate appetizers was delivered in a staggered and disjointed manner. One dish was served, followed by an inexplicable delay before the next dish arrived. This pattern persisted throughout the meal, making the dining experience unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating. One of our orders, the Mango Mirchi drink, was completely forgotten by the staff. Despite reminding them, the drink only made its appearance long after we had finished our appetizers and moved on to the main course. This level of carelessness and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply inexcusable. Even the Chickpeas, which should have been a straightforward dish, proved to be a letdown. They were drenched in an excessive amount of oil, rendering them unpleasant to consume. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone seeking a palatable and balanced meal. Adding to the unsettling experience was the presence of numerous fleas within the restaurant. This was not only unsightly but also deeply concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Such a blatant lack of cleanliness and attention to detail raises serious doubts about the establishment's commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable dining environment. In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant left me thoroughly unsatisfied on multiple fronts. The lack of flavor, the staggered and disorganized service, the forgotten orders, the oily chickpeas, and the presence of fleas all contribute to an experience I would rather forget. I strongly advise against dining here if you value a positive dining experience.

Breakfast buffet: I had the pleasure of indulging in the breakfast buffet today (Sunday) at Rang de, that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The expansive spread featured a diverse selection of traditional Indian breakfast dishes, each meticulously prepared and served with a touch of culinary finesse. Buffet Menu: Idly, Vada, Upma, Pongal, Poori, Plain dosa, Masala Dosa, Uttapam, Onion Uttapam, Dessert (Double ka meeta), Masala tea, Coffee, 3 chutneys (Tomato chutney was the best) Sambar,. One of the highlights of my experience was the consistently hot and fresh food. The aromatic spices permeated the air as I sampled various items from the buffet. The array of flavors ranged from the hearty goodness of vada to the savory delight of dosas, creating a breakfast feast that catered to diverse palates. However, what truly set Rang de apart was the exceptional service provided by staff person Hari. His attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm for ensuring a positive dining experience elevated the meal to new heights. Hari was not just a staff member; he was a knowledgeable guide, offering recommendations and insights into the menu with a friendly demeanor. The restaurant's ambiance further enhanced the overall experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that complemented the richness of the food. The staff's dedication to cleanliness and hospitality was evident, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment. In conclusion, Rang de impressively combines delectable flavors with outstanding service. The breakfast buffet is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to delivering an authentic and memorable culinary journey. I highly recommend Rang de for anyone seeking a delightful start to their day with a blend of flavorful Indian breakfast options and impeccable service, courtesy of the exceptional Hari.
