Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ottawa

Update (2021): We use to order from here at least once a week. The last time I went to pick up our food, the front of the store window was smashed, so a sign was up to pickup orders around the back of the building. I checked my order to make sure it was right, and there was hardly any cheese on the pizza that we had ordered EXTRA cheese on. I explained, and said it wasn’t right, we order from here all the time and this has never happened, and asked if they could remake the pizza. I was told that I was wrong, and that the cheese had just fallen in between the cut slices because it was cut while it was too hot (not true, I opened the box to check) but either way, that isn’t my problem; and they refused to remake it. It was terrible, and went right into the garbage. Great business practice guys! I have not been back since and will not order form here again. Anytime friend’s mention ordering from here, I tell them about our experience and it quickly changes their mind.

This location has definitely been the best, and is very consistent. (Update) The biggest things they could improve on are Covid safety related.. definitely no rules being followed here. Like actually enforcing the “serving 2 customers at a time” rule, (just ask the Skip the Dishes guys to wait outside or in their cars so that other customers can pick up their food too). Provide a bottle of hand sanitizer (there is none available to customers at all- coming/going or after touching their debit machine). I’ve walked in and seen everyone with masks around their chin, even the ones handling food. And also the delivery guys will walk in and go right to the kitchen and touch everything without washing or sanitizing...

1/27/23 Revision- The restaurant did follow up with me, explained that they saw the photos and the concerns, explained that they are testing some new products, completely owned the situation and took care of us. It was still an initially poor experience, but I will give credit where it's due for the service recovery.

We have ordered countless times from this Pizza Hut and generally it’s pretty good but today’s delivery was very disappointing. I ordered two large pizzas with extra cheese on both and was shocked when we received miniature pizzas in a large box, the toppings or someone scammed, and it was very clear that there was not extra cheese, and the cheese seemed different than it is normally. It was not very stringy, and very congealed, almost as if they ran out of cheese and went to the grocery store and purchased a black diamond cheese, bricks, and shredded them. I have even attached photos because you need to see this to believe it, I tried calling the restaurant several times, but kept on being routed to a Pizza Hut number (because they weren’t answering the phone) where they would want to take my order and I had to explain what happened about three times, I kept being transferred to another rep and it was like déjà vu, oh, someone finally offered to contact the restaurant on my behalf, they weren’t able to get through either, and she suggested that she would transfer me to an internal customer service number, and then the line went dead and hung up on me. I tried calling the restaurant several more times to no avail. Fortunately, the chicken wings were absolutely delicious but what a disappointment, considering the product is...

If you ever thought about enjoying a nice yummy pizza somewhere close to your neighborhood that has enjoyable food and enjoyable employees pizza hut is the one for you. Now rethink your life if you thought that was serious because the only good reviews are from the workers. Just go to Willys. Or Gabriel's. or Sammy's. Or Pizza Pizza if you're that desperate. Literally anywhere but this excuse for a business. The pizza is alright but if your order isn't correct it's 100% your fault because no way would there ever be a problem with the online app nor would any employee take any responsibility for it because it isn't their's at all, they're too perfect for that! If you walk an extra 10m there's a nice burrito place right next door. Or get your teeth cleaned by the dental office adjacent, it saves you any hassle. In summation, garbage workers who think they're better than everyone, need their employees to boost their reviews because they're insecure.

Note the fake names as well as almost all the positive reviews have the last name Patel. Hardly a coincidence that an entire family is giving this trash place 5 stars. The most recent 5 star reviews have been posted within 4-10 minutes within each other. Realistically, who is raving this much over a simple Pizza hut? Never come here even once despite what a fake google...
