I will not go again and neither will my parents, siblings & their families, aunts and uncles + their children. We supported this business for YEARS in person and through Uber, but after our last order, we were extremely disappointed in how money hungry the owner is (comes from the same background as us, which is why we supported this business for all of these years). Refused to even speak to us to have proper dialogue and communication. It was a special night for us during our last order and it was completely ruined because of the lack of communication and ignoring on this restaurant’s part. I don’t have the energy to get into it all because judging by the Owner’s response on most negative reviews, they’ll be trying to cover themselves up anyways rather than focusing on what could have been done better on the business’ part and on making reparations. Anybody who wants more details is welcomed to contact me directly. Unbelievably disappointed and now it feels like our years of money could have been better spent supporting another business that would value us as human beings rather than treat us like garbage after years of our dedication to them. Just like other people are entitled to their positive experiences, we are entitled to our negative one. The irony of this will be that the same owner who refused to even speak with us or even meet us is the same owner who may actually give us the time of day on this platform because it is public and they care more about their income that will be impacted, but not about ours that had been. To the owner: your customers who actually try to have open dialogue with you in-person or over the phone over a negative experience, rather mistreating them and ignoring them which eventually leads to them posting a negative review, it can be easily resolved (and probably better for your business too) when done in-person or over the phone (which is exactly what we were trying to do). We are taking the time out of our day to acknowledge your business, to take our hard-earned money to spend it at your location versus others to find ways to support you and your family, the least you can do is talk to (or schedule some time to talk to us) when we have concerns to address. Absolutely disappointed. Once again, just because other people may have had good experiences, it doesn’t...
Read more“A favour is a favour”? Seriously?
If we can pay $20+ for a pizza, why would we be chasing a $1 “favour”? We regularly tip more than that—because we value good service and good food. The issue here is not about money; it’s about attitude, consistency, and respect toward loyal customers.
Let’s clarify a few things:
Regarding the incident with Aditya – we never complained about him personally. There was a hygiene issue — hair in the pizza, and your manager apologized and offered a replacement, which we accepted politely. That wasn’t “free food from complaints,” that was a basic customer service response to a legitimate problem.
As for your comment about the Orléans store, we went there right after this incident—and guess what? They added the toppings that your staff claimed were "against policy." That shows this “policy” is either inconsistent or being used as an excuse depending on who’s on shift.
Half-and-half toppings are not a favor, they are a standard practice even at chain pizza places like Domino's and Pizza Pizza. It's not a special request — it’s a normal customization. Trying to frame it as a “favor” just shows poor understanding of basic customer expectations.
We’re not the only ones who have faced this attitude. Another customer in the store during our visit was also visibly upset. That should tell you something about what’s happening on the ground, not just behind the counter.
If your idea of customer service is to accuse paying customers of lying or “complaining for free food,” then yes — we’re more than happy to never come back. But don’t try to twist the situation to cover up poor service and unprofessional behavior.
We supported your business almost daily. You’ve now made it clear how little that meant to you.
No further “favors” needed — from either side.
And judging by the tone, we all know this response came straight from Harshid himself 😂 — glad to see he’s still acting like a coward guy online, same as In person, he was shivering and ran to the back like a scared little kitten — now suddenly he's a keyboard warrior hiding behind the store account 😂👏 Batamiz then, batamiz now. Good luck running a...
Read moreWow, my tastebuds have been totally blown away tonight after trying Red Swan Pizza. Sorry other pizza joints, move on over! The hubs called out for a large double cheese pizza tonight, normal crust, with two dipping sauces. A cheddar jalapeno and garlic dipping sauce. We both were not very hungry to begin with, but we have been waiting what seemed to be forever to try this pizza joint, and I didn't feel like cooking dinner, so its a win win! It was ready in about 15 minutes and I am pretty sure we devoured it in 2 minutes.
Honestly, If I knew ahead of time how good this pizza was, I would have ordered an additional pizza....and kept it all to myself (lol). I did not want to share at all, it was that good! A large fed 2 not so hungry adults and 1 kid, but we weren't stuffed. If you are really hungry I'd consider getting at least 2 pizzas...trust me.
The crust is so light, and flavorful, especially with the sesame seeds. The sauce is a tad sweet, and was plentiful on the pizza. There was also another spice in the sauce that really stood out and I cannot for the life of me put my finger on it. It was unique and different from a lot of the other pizza joints in Ottawa. The double helping of cheese was generous and good quality. The hubs did request green olives on half the pizza, which is a free topping, but they forgot, which in the end was fine by me, because the pizza was perfect as is. I am also a sucker for dipping sauces, and find they tend to save the pizza, but I found my self not needing any at all because the pizza was THAT GOOD! The pizza did have some flop to it (see pics) but it firmed up as the pizza cooled down. No biggie.
Red Swan has so many unique pizzas, I can't wait to try them all, but the double cheese may just be my go to. You can also customize your crust. Keto? gluten free? no sesame seeds? They can make it happen for you! They also offer little bites like potato wedges, nachos, salads and wings.
I am excited to have Red Swan in the neighborhood, and I am already planning my next...
