Nestled in the heart of the bustling city lies a culinary gem, "Simbad Bakery," a haven for meat pie enthusiasts seeking a delectable indulgence. Upon entering, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked pies wafting through the air. The cozy atmosphere, adorned with rustic decor and warm lighting, exuded a sense of comfort and relaxation. The friendly staff welcomed me with genuine hospitality, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

At "Simbad Bakery," the menu boasts an array of mouthwatering meat pies, each crafted with precision and expertise. From classic steak and ale to exotic kangaroo and mushroom, there is a pie to suit every palate. I opted for the signature beef and Guinness pie, intrigued by its rich and robust flavor profile. With eager anticipation, I took my first bite, and instantly, I was transported to culinary bliss. The buttery pastry crust, golden and flaky, cradled tender chunks of beef bathed in a savory Guinness-infused gravy. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and utterly satisfying. The quality of the ingredients shone through, showcasing the dedication of the chefs to excellence. Accompanying my pie was a generous serving of creamy mashed potatoes and buttery peas, elevating the dining experience to new heights. The attention to detail in the presentation was commendable, with each dish meticulously plated to perfection.

As I savored each delectable morsel, I couldn't help but appreciate the ambiance of "Simbad Bakery." The cozy seating arrangements and soft background music created an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and enjoyment. Whether dining alone or with company, the bakery offered a welcoming retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Throughout my dining experience, the attentive staff at "Simbad Bakery" provided impeccable service, catering to my every need with professionalism and warmth. From offering menu recommendations to ensuring timely refills of my beverage, their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident.

In conclusion, my visit to "Simbad Bakery" was nothing short of exceptional. From the tantalizing flavors of the meat pies to the inviting ambiance and attentive service, every aspect of the dining experience exceeded my expectations. For meat pie enthusiasts and food lovers alike, "Simbad Bakery" is a must-visit destination, where culinary excellence meets unparalleled...

Under new management, Simbad has expanded their pie menu, offering a wide range of new pies and topping combinations.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is genuinely friendly. It's one of those small businesses where you enjoy chatting with the staff and having a conversation with the owner.

What really stands out at Simbad is the doe itself. When you purchase their pies, they are freshly made and delicious, but the real test is in how long you can keep them if not immediately consumed. Pies can dry up fast and become crispy in a day or two, but the pies from Simbad remain fresh and soft, even 2 or 3 days later. You can put them in the fridge for a few days or freeze them for weeks, then microwave them or warm them up / defrost them in the oven or over stove top. Either way, the Simbad doe is their secret ingredient for a fresh pie every time.

I also tried their Iraqi style Geymar (known as Kaymak in Turkey) which is a thickened cream that you consume with bread and honey. It...

I had a very disappointing experience at Simbad Kabob. I ordered a special and asked the owner when it would be ready because I have to leave soon to pick up my kids from school. He assured me it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 20 minutes, I informed them I was running late and requested a refund. To my surprise, they refused and told me it would be ready in just 2 minutes. Instead, I was left waiting for another 10 minutes, all while my kids were outside waiting for me after school.

After 30 minutes, they finally threw the food at me, and to top it off, the owner grinned and told me to call next time. I felt completely disrespected. I won't be returning.

After rushing to pick up my kids and heading home, we finally tried the food—and it was clearly uncooked. The lack of respect and authenticity...

<Nov 9th update>: The guy at the cash on Saturday's and the lady too are incredibly courteous and proactive in making sure our dine-in experience was stellar. We used to go to Sinbad under the prior ownership and thought they needed to improve cleanliness as the person in the cash receiving coins and bills, would also manipulate the pies with their hands. This doesn't seem to be the case under the new ownership. The store has a better layout and the pies are really good. The cheese pies are just fantastic...you can ask them to throw some veggies in it for only $1.00 extra, and make it a bit more balanced for the kids. The meat pie is delicious, thin and crispy. I need to try their Zaatar and some of their other dishes. Service people are courteous and friendly.
