I feel bad writing this cause I’ve done my fair share of customer service jobs including being a barista.
I’m not sure what’s happened lately but the evening week day staff lack some serious customer service skills and any sort of efficiency. 9 times out of 10 we’re at the drive through window for 10-15 minutes and that doesn’t include ordering off the mobile app 5+ minutes before hand. I can also tell when we get to the speaker that they’ve only just grabbed the ticket because they say “uh….yah we’re just working on it now” - and have even been scolded some times by the staff for not ordering early enough even though I have the receipt stating I’ve placed the order sufficiently in advance. We’ve spent numerous times sitting at the speaker for an awkward amount of time before someone finally greets us laughing and mid conversation. They’re always out of stock on stuff (which I know generally comes down to management and the company they order from) and a majority of the time what we order is not prepared correctly or were given someone else’s order entirely because, plot twist, our order was never made. Read moreStaff were too busy cleaning the store to bother to actually do their job and complete customer orders. The amount of time 1 staff member took to make 2 separate customers simple orders was obscene. The person ahead of us ordered 2 coffees and a bag of ground coffee, and the staff member making up the orders was so slow it was comical. There were no drive thru orders either,The other staff members stared at him while cleaning the store behind the counter said and did nothing, Word of advice get off your asses and get the orders out instead of cleaning because when it takes too long to get orders out guess what....your paying customers will go elsewhere to spend their money and you will end up with no jobs. We finally received our 2 coffee's,staff member walked away and started cleaning. We had to ask for our other items we had not received yet 2 marshmellow dream bars, Starbucks ... How do you still employ staff who are so unmotivated in serving customers ?. We will not be returning to this location nor recommending it to others when there are faster, better priced options in...
Read moreI came here recently with my mom and had a horrible experience. We were hoping to sit down inside and enjoy an iced tea, instead we waited around for 20 minutes, never got our drinks, and had to eventually ask for a refund.
I can vouch for the other negative reviews (and immature and inappropriate use of stickers - they’re all over the place) of this particular location as we experienced similar “service.”
We waited for 20 minutes only to have one drink made - visibly upset, I asked the barista at the bar TWICE for my second drink and was brushed off both times. Instead, he was chatting with his coworkers out loud as well as through their drive thru headsets.
Finally asked for a refund, as did the couple who ordered after me, which the barista processed without apology or even acknowledging the horrible service.
This used to be one of the best Starbucks locations in the city, now it’s garbage. The worst part of the experience is that now I don’t have a Starbucks in my neighbourhood because this one is dead to me. Do better, Findlay...
