The Creek Lebanese Shawarma & Bakery — Restaurant in Ottawa

I’m hoping the owner sees this before it’s too late, your garlic potatoes gave me severe food poisoning and they were very inedible. Luckily I decided to eat them last because I ended up having to spit what I was eating out and wash my mouth off.

However on the other hand the sandwiches were the absolute best shawarma I have had in Ottawa. Every bite was better than the last. And I can tell they were juicy and well cooked. Which is why I’m not giving this a one star. I’m only leaving this review so the owner knows he may have received a bad batch of potatoes or that maybe his supplier is bad quality. This is the second time I ordered the garlic potatoes and the first time they weren’t good either. But at least then they were edible. I’m going to order it again one month from now to see if it has improved. If it hasn’t this review will turn into a one star review. If the owner fixes the mistake then this review will be removed and replaced with a five star review.

I truly want to give this place a good chance. And I hope that they will take the advice of...

I've been meaning to write a review about this place forever. I must say this place is truly a hidden gem! I stumbled upon it this past summer when I was in the vicinity. Now I always pop in when I'm in the area - yes, their shawarma is that good!! Being from Montreal, a city known for absolutely amazing shawarma (maybe I'm a bit biased...LOL! ), this place is at the top of my list. My go to, is their falafel, it's flavourful, moist (the latter is rare I think, most that I've had can be a bit crumbly, but not this one at all), and not salty (this is important) - completely delicious! I've also tried their chicken shawarma, also very yummy. I'm sure everything is good!

This is more a take-out spot, but they have tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your meal, if you choose. I think you can also order online. It's certainly worth checking out - whether you choose to go in person or...

The restaurant tables weren’t as clean as they should be I called for a 15 piece fried chicken there was a promotion for it and I asked how many breast pieces is there in the offer because I wanted to pay extra for chicken breast he replied by 5 or 6 pieces so I was like okay that’s enough for me I don’t have to pay extra 5 pieces is enough when I took the order and went home it appeared there was only 3 pieces of breast chicken and when I called to inform them he was rude, mocked me and then said it’s not a( big deal )we can give you your 2 piece breast I didn’t want to go back to the restaurant and wait another 25 to 35 minutes
