The food is good. If you have food allergies, you may want to think twice. I showed up with my young daughter who has a serious tree nut allergy. When I ordered two pad Thai’s I asked if there were any nuts or potential cross contamination. The cashier said “No nuts at all”. So we ordered.

While we waited we saw on the board “Cashew sauce”. So I asked about the cashew sauce. I was told it’s only for the stir fry. I asked where it was, because there are a lot of sauces beside the chefs and they’re constantly putting their ladles in all of them. I was again told it was only for the stir fry. I said, I get that but I’m wondering where it is so I can understand the cross contamination potential. The cashier looked annoyed and just brushed it off as no big deal. I had already paid so we left with two pad Thai and my daughter scared to eat. Had to go to another place to pick up food.

Again, the food is good. They need to do a way better job with customer questions and especially allergies. If you don’t seem to care, why would...

Usually I'm really impressed with this Thai Express' service and the quantity of their food but the one time I ordered through Uber, they really disappointed me. First, I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and usually when I order this I receive quite a bit of shrimp. This time it was so hard to find the shrimp. There were roughly 4 shrimp in the whole dish! Secondly, I ordered a Thai in a box cake. I thought the cake would come in the same box as their regular noodles. Boy, was I wrong! Literally a small piece of cake was delivered in the tiniest of boxes. If they wrote the size of the cake on their menu, I definitely wouldn't have bought it so maybe this was on me but it was deceiving to receive a tiny slice for $5. I've learned my lesson. Won't be purchasing cake...

We were pretty disappointed by the food here. Ordered the peanut/coconut bowl and the yellow Thai curry. The peanut/coconut bowl was very bland, and flavourless. The curry had a little flavour but also bland.

All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh and the restaurant was clean and had adequate covid-19 protections.

Ordering was a challenge because the lady taking the order struggled to communicate in English, however the masks don’t make this any easier.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Pity the food doesn’t meet with the appearance of the restaurant or the happy staff...
