If I could give this place less than a 1 star then I definitely would. I walked into this place about 2 weeks postpartum with twins. Upon arriving I was told that they no longer offered 1 hour time slots and that you would have to pay for 2 hours. Not everyone wants to stay here for 2 hours. Not all children have the patience to stay that long and people have other things to do. I paid for 2 hours , after being given attitude from the receptionist whom should not even be in a facility where children play because with that attitude , no one would tolerate that anywhere. I will never degrade myself for anything, the only reason I stayed after being spoken to like that was because my children were really excited to play and they deserve to have fun. Walked away from the desk to proceed into the play area before being told that now my stroller cannot be brought in. I will repeat 2 weeks postpartum with twins after a major surgery and expected to carry 2 car seats around for 2 hours while my children played. The options were either get a refund after just have gone through all of that or don’t bring my stroller inside. I asked to speak to the manager, no decency, no care, they went to the back room and came back saying the manager says if the wheels are cleaned that I can bring my stroller in. So my 6 year old child , whom was the only empathetic individual there said no mama you can’t clean that Ill do it. Grabs the cloth out of my hand to proceed to wash my stroller, before going in to play only to leave at the 1 hour mark. This place is a complete scam. No proper management and its a major money grab. As long as money is coming in nothing else matters. Teach your staff how to be more empathetic towards people. I have a thick skin , what about if I was disabled ? And on a wheelchair?? Then what??? Disgusted with the way I was treated. This place is not cheap and to be disrespected on top of that. Unacceptable. This led me to sit in tears and just wonder how people can be so nasty. If you care so much about cleanliness why don't you clean your facility. Its not even possible to clean half of the stuff. Nothing is sustainable in there. The makeup room tell me how its hygienic to put something on your mouth that someone else has already put there. Brushes on your face? How do those get sanitized ? The stairs aren't safe, the carpet causes you to slip. Its dirty. The market room doesn’t get cleaned theres no way to sanitize those plushy grocery toy items. The whole place should just be shut down. The hype was up the first few months and now its all over. Not worth travelling all the way to Kanata for. Save your time, mental health, energy and money and go somewhere that your kids will be able to make nice memories in. Don’t recommend. Avoid this place at all costs. There are much better places...
Read moreThis is a nice idea to open this type of indoor playground in the Kanata area, but the pricing may not sustain their customer base in the long run. Per hour play should be an option and not forcing customers to purchase 2 hour play minimum. All other indoor playgrounds start with a 1 hour purchase. Charging adults $5.99 is a turn off for parents as parents will not play but supervise the kids. I hope this changes as All indoor playgrounds don’t charge parents fee. The facility is clean, and the setup is safe for kids. However, the space feels quite cramped—approximately 1/10 the size of all other indoor playgrounds. Menu prices are really high compared to the market. Kids menus should be inexpensive and affordable. Additionally, the two-hour playtime limit, combined with higher admission, parents fee $5.99 and membership costs compared to Bubblesea adventures, Flying squirrels, Cosmic Adventures, Little Monkeys and Fun Heaven makes it less appealing. I hope these feedbacks are taken in consideration to make the changes and having it more affordable to parents across other indoor playgrounds. There should also be monthly discounts and promotions happening just like the indoor playgrounds. Party packages are way overpriced. All the indoor playgrounds party packages range from $300-$500 including good and drinks with 10 children. The packages you have are over priced. While it was worth trying once trying, we likely won’t return or recommend it to others.
Your hours need to be improved significantly. Closing 6:00pm on weekdays makes no chance or room for working parents to come after school when it finishes at 4:00pm and by the time you arrive to the location your left with 1 hour or 1.5 hour which defeats the purposing of making mandatory to charge minimum of 2 hours play. This will only give opportunity to stay home families that can take their children to your place. You need to accommodate all families including working families that actually fits their life styles and be able to serve the customers. Recommend 9:00pm closing during the weekdays or you need to improvise the rates on the weekends too and give discounts for families that can’t make it during the week. All indoor playgrounds stay till 8pm or 9pm which...
Read moreI promise I’m not a staff member, just a genuinely impressed parent. Totally unaffiliated, just had to leave a glowing review!
Absolutely loved our visit! I made a trip from Napanee to vote at the Korean Embassy in Ottawa and decided to treat our kids to some playtime afterwards. Although the admission fee seemed a bit high at first, the photos and reviews convinced us to book, and I’m so glad we did!
The space is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There are endless play zones and little touches everywhere that show how well-maintained and well-planned this place is. Our kids had a blast, and even I felt comfortable and relaxed, which is rare at indoor playgrounds!
The staff were friendly and professional. When I ordered the meal combo (Bolognese pasta and a mango slushie), we were surprised by the generous portion size and how tasty everything was—it was more than enough for me and my two kids to share.
I was so impressed by the flexibility too. After our two-hour session ended, my older child wanted to stay longer. Since it was a quiet weekday afternoon and we had spent time eating during our slot, the front desk kindly extended our playtime without hesitation.
We discovered even more hidden gems on the second floor; Mario Kart games, beautiful sensory books for little ones, blocks, and imaginative play areas that we didn’t even get to fully enjoy in one visit.
If we lived in Ottawa, I’d 100% buy a membership and come regularly. My first child is already planning to return very soon lol
This place is a gem, and I truly hope it continues to thrive. Thank you for creating such a magical, family-friendly space. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ottawa...
