Review imply to this location as this is the one I visited. This place was quite full at around 6pm. Seating was tight and personal but comfortable and spacious. The area had a second floor but was not opened yet when I visited. I found seat for two easily. Ambience was calm and no loud music nor bar like talks and shoutings lol. Although they do serve alcohol. I shared fried cauliflour as apps and it was deilcious weather you are herbavior or carnivore. I cant compare it to anything. I could eat the whole thing :) It comes with some neat tasty sauce that goes great with it. I also tried their beef vegan burger. It was small patty and it was not the best but it was very good. I also tried their lentil soup. It was nice and thick with some unique spices. I would try something else next time as they had a variety to try out. There is lots of parking available upfront as it is located in a plaza area. The prices of everything are compareable to any other restaurants. Here you can sit in and be served. Its also clean with attentive employees. Hardly this types of joints exists now a days but slowly some are coming up. Thats why its super hard to compare but with the choices they have available...it definetly puts them in spotlight. I will certainly go out of my way some day to...
Read moreOn Friday May 26, 2023, my mom and I went to Pure Kitchen on Terry Fox for the first time and what I can day from my experience is that it was terrible. With our party of 15+ people, the first I noticed at the restaurant though the interior was nice was the dead flies on the tables, as if they had bug sprayed our area but then forgot to clean the tables. Then there was the poor service, after the food was brought up to us we were serving out own food, as coordinating what dish went to whom. Within that chaos, food was either delayed, or missed and was being made on spot, despite the fact that we all had given our order before and they know how big our party would be and should have had more staff on hand. Finally, while the food was okay on the day of both be and my mom woke up with food poisoning from what we had eaten what was served to us which was the cauliflower wings, lettuce cups, a smoothies and a cappuccino. I definitely will not be going to recommending this place. $60 worth of food with a tip already included that lead to food poisoning and...
Read moreAWESOME!! In our first visit to Ottawa, we had tried a couple of restaurants and Pure Kitchen (Elgin St) was the only place we had a great experience. And this branch didn't disappoint either. We did a dine-in. We started off with a Mochaccino and a Bullet Coffee. Mochaccino very good. Bullet Coffee was a new for me. I particularly liked it but my wife didn't so much. I can understand it's an acquired taste. From what I've read, it's not healthy but a good thing to try once. For the meals, we went for a Fulfilled burger and a Cheerful Wrap. I loved the idea of half-fries, half-salad (you're making your stomach and tongue, both happy). Everything was amazing - reminding us why we didn't give much thought for coming here. The ambiance is great. Bright and uplifting. What we also appreciate is the table size for two was wide enough. Normally the table for two in the restaurants are too small to place things which wasn't the case here. The staff was great. Plenty of parking outside since this is in a plaza. Definitely...
