I love My 24hr Timmies. I was so excited to get to a low traffic late night experience at Timmies, by far my favorite Franchise of Date (2:30am Aug 2nd 2024), only to be met with devastation.
My favorite thing about the night shift is the low traffic low work that gives its employees patience. While other may treat themselves to Deluxe Donuts or fancy Whipped topped beverages. I prefer to use my insider employee knowledge to really complicate an order. I ordered a BLT, sub mayo for Herb and Garlic Creems cheese, sub bread for Bagel 4Cheese Combined with a Medium coffee and my special favorite The Sour Cream Glazed donut for the low price of 11$ and not even 10cents. Everything was perfect down to the extra slice of American cheese inside I didn't pay for; about the food. I hate myself for bringing up the following. At 32 years of age, I may be the closest thing to a Modern day Hippie, and I love Everyone. My guilty heroes are the late Robin Williams, and the stars Jackie Chan and Tommy Chong. I DO NOT discriminate race, gender, not religion (any) including the Sikh, to which these two employees may have been advertising with their Turbans wrapped tightly around their heads. Perhaps it is this acceptance that blind me to the clearly displayed inattention of the cashier. I never trust my first instinct, and acquitted the cashier's inattention to overwork although perhaps it was arrogance that distracted him.
Leaving the premise there was a man with long hair, sleeping on the front stepin front of the display windows with a bottle of Malibu at his side. His tall narrow free and long hair gave thisan the appearance of my estranged lil brother and so I did the best a big brother could. I called the establishment and asked them to confirm the individual's identity and offer him 30$ worth of whatever he needs and call me back, That I would return to settle the bill. The man on the line at Tim Hortons on St-joseph there Did Not Take my Number and told me the police had collected him; They HAD NOT.

We were bombarded with Tim Hortons commercials for the new cream donuts on tv and on the net. I decided to try it.
The disappointment was inside, on a sunday morning, before 11am, Tim Horton not only did not have the cream donuts they pay millions to advertise, but also did not have ONE DOZEN of ANY donuts.
I ended up getting 6vapple fritters, 4 chocolate glaze.....
To add insults to injury, I ordered 2 cheese croissants... To be told after checking inside sorry we only have 2 plain!!! On a Sunday morning before 11am the store has only 2 croissants... The plain were put by mistake in the cheese bin....
Again I bit on my wound and I got the plain croissants. I spent $16 on stuff I don't really want. I had to get something for I waited in the sun for 20 min....
I know what I am going to say now is not going to fit right with most people.... But since Burger King took over Tim Horton took over, the coffee and donuts side of things have gones down. I would have even use another word that starts with S. Many people I know share that feeling.
They seem to care for the fast food selling rather than selling their classic lines that clients love and still treasure.
This is not the first time.... The times before were in the early afternoon and at different locations.!
Too bad Tim Horton has swolloed any other small donut chains through the years, only to rudely insult it's clients in favour of faster money making breakfast...

Deal with it from this communication point. Don't push back on us to do your job. I can see your possible policy of closing unresponsive emails from our complaints would definitely improve your ratings at Corp level but this is public space.
