Cheap cold beer served with a smile, pick-it-yourself TV (News, then Sports), and a what-feels-like-home vibe.

Long day tabling in the sun after driving out from TO — beers across the street were 30% more expensive, so I took my chances and was pleasantly surprised. Greeted at the door, asked for a beer and got it in seconds, and was immediately offered a menu and iced water as accompaniment. Got wifi to do work, listened to Aunties and Uncles chatter in the background for a few minutes then locked-in.

I didn't eat, but damn-good prices that kept an eye on my glass. New customer walked-in, owner remembered buddy from the week/day before, thanked them for coming-in prior-to, and set them up with food/drink equally fast.

You want to lock-in and do work? I wasn't bothered save for when my glass neared empty. You want company? Ask about the business and tune into a gem of a story that you didn't know you needed. Different vibe from contemporaneous bars that charge an arm-and-a-leg for a beer or an app, but a needed one that keeps the homies and cousin ready for...

When I arrived at this place with my friend, it was empty. One of the staff was loudly chatting on her phone. As soon as another one of the staff arrived, there was consistent yelling, things getting banged around (loud noises, not sure what was going on). It was very concerning to witness, and extremely awkward as it was just my friend and I and the staff arguing (which moved from inside the kitchen, to one of the tables, to the cash). I was also charged more than was listed on the menu for what I ordered, but at that point I didn't care because I just wanted out. I would not recommend this place with how things...

Very kind mom and pop pub. AMAZING homemade soups, fish and chips, and more!! A little pricey for pitchers of beer (rounding off over $20.00, 4types, mostly premium) Yet they have a variety of cocktail pitchers. Dinner to split between the two of us we had the fish n chips, pea soup - that will warm your heart and 190% stick to your bones. Had a pitcher and a tequila shot each - not the best, refered as "tequila bang bang". In the end a bill of over $55.00 and very satisfied. Will try the breakfast for sure. I'd recommend for sure if you've got a few dollars to spare for a very delicious well made homemade...
