This establishment is a disgrace to the university. Eat here if you want to be treated like a peasant. Favours regulars and/or those who made reservations. If you ask for something, they’ll pretend not to hear and you just keep doing their thing. Water comes with the food and not when you initially sit down. Server’s demeanour will completely change when you go to pay and they’re hoping for the 18% tip. No soap in the bathroom. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser outside the bathroom. Honestly one of or the worst restaurants/pubs I’ve been to. The service experience is not unique to an individual rather the service team as a whole. They all seem to behave similarly and don’t see an issue with their atrocious service. Highly recommend attending a different league or relocating ice permit to another rink. I have to say off the bat that when you come here, you are treated by the owners like kings. They are there 24/7. I would say that if I want high-end roadhouse food, this is the place to be. They serve one of the best Nashville chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Burgers are outstanding. If you like tacos they are also very good. Tons of appetizers. Nachos are fully loaded and awesome. Chicken wings are very big and very good. Salads are incredible. Cold beer to top it off. Lots of local breweries and Labatts products. This is a perfect place to rent the ice and have your hockey practice at as it's at the Ottawa U recreation complex overlooking the ice. What a spot. I can”t say enough good things about the quality of food, service, atmosphere and the staff team at Nox Eatery & Public House Inc. The staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. Whether it’s after Hockey with the boys, or a meal with family, the quality of people working here make it a special experience.
