It's 2023 and I was shocked at how inexpensive the prices were for a restaurant. Sure, this isn't your fancy restaurant but if you don't mind the basic but clean decor. The food was delicious and prices very affordable! Being in a small community they don't have the same variety as some of the Vietnamese restaurants in Nanaimo. Case in point the pho they don't have some of the different types of toppings but I went with the rare beef slice and beef balls ($12). I was surprised by how many beef balls they gave me. I got at least triple what other places give me. The service was very fast and friendly. It seems like a lot of locals and regulars come here. Not many tourists here, but if they come don't expect a fancy restaurant. Expect good food at affordable prices. I definitely will be back and join the local regulars.

Discovered this place by accident when the ramen place we wanted to go to was closed and we still wanted a noodle soup. Wow! I've been to probably 200 Vietnamese places to have pho and this one was superb. Prices are fantastically low, portions are gigantic (for real) and the homemade beef balls are literally the best pho meatballs I've ever tasted in my life at a Vietnamese place hands down. Texture and taste are the best I've ever eaten. Food came out super quick. I will definitely come again next year when we visit parksville

Ordered a tofu curry here 2 days ago and my boyfriend hat the tofu fried noodles. Service was really quick and nice. Food was just mediocre. My extra ordered cauliflower was barely cooked and carrots and potatoes were totally over cooked. It was a lot and could take home another full meal, which was very nice tho. Price was okay ($11 plus $2 for the cauliflower) but I’ve had better food for that value. Location was nothing special, but still clean and organized. Overall an okay experience.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the prices are fair. But the owners are not protecting their patrons from the Corona Virus. There is a place to sanitize hands and that is good thing - but they are not being very responsible in protecting us when we are eating. Today when we had lunch the restaurant filled up with people standing in among the diners waiting for their take out orders. All these people were without masks and not 6 feet away. This is a teeny tiny restaurant and I feel that they should make people pick up their orders at the back door or wait outside at the front door. We are serious about stopping the spread of this virus and if numbskulls don't treat this virus seriously we are going to have a big spread of it soon on...

We arrived about quarter after 6 on Friday evening. The place was packed, and a line up of at least 5 people either picking up take out or wanting to pay for meals. One waitress working as usual. The poor girl had to deal with all of these people, and deliver meals!! Finally, about 20 to 7 the waitress approached us and sail their last meal was 6:30. We said we had been there since about quarter after 6, and she was very apologetic. Our order was placed, and we were then told they close at 7. Rather than rush through it, we opted for take out. The food is so good that we are willing to put up with the wait at Saigon Garden, but tonight the service was...
