My personal experience with this McDonald's has been mediocre at Best. Forgotten items in my order, a good portion of the time. Granted, they seem to be much more efficient at this point in time in this aspect, I haven't missed an item in at least a year now which is the bare minimum but with such low expectations it's a great thing. These guys are timed and scored based on how much time we spend at the window! I think that's most of the reason items go missing in our orders. Because of that we get parked and almost forgotten about because there's enough pressure on the team to get the person with only one meal out of the drive thru as there is if it were someone with four meals. Not to mention whoever is in charge of ordering signs needs to rethink their career...maybe it's the store manager telling head office that their sign is wrong or maybe it's just head office not doing their job. Either way, having a sign saying "open 24 hours" VERY misleading. I hope they can get it changed because there have been countless amounts of time I've gone there to get coffee for a very early shift(since 2019) for work and I can't because they were the only ones supposed to be open that early. Don't count on them if you work early or if you're up late drinking! Timmies drive thru is open absolutely 24 hours a day and they might not have the same food, but it might be worth it rather than trying your luck with these guys because you might actually get something, unfortunately. I would like McDonald's, but the unreliability has made me go there less and less because of these reasons. It's more to do with head office rather than this...
Read moreN This MacDonalds for some reason gets our orders wrong most of the time...This time we cheaked our food in the drive through waiting area..Yes it was wrong again..We ordered two Carolina burgers and fries to go, on 1/4 pounder buns...Checking the order..There is no onions on the Carolina burgers...Took them back in the store to get the order corrected...They brought the fixed order back out to our waiting vehicle...Wrong again...NO ONIONS AGAIN...This time the superviser takes our order back in the store to get it right...She comes back out for the third time and finally she got the right order to us and was kind enough to give us two apple pies for our inconveniences...I actually didnt want to go to Macdonalds in Parksville because I have had so many orders no right, by the time i am home, I have not wanted to come back to complain..My partner said no they wont get it wrong this time...So we went....They got it wrong again...Not sure why this location is so consistent at NOT getting the orders right..It is all automated system..It can't get much simpler..Maybe haven your employees take alittle more time to read the orders and get them right would help a whole...
Read moreWent there on August 8, 2025. They forgot to get me my change from paying cash. When I got to the second window young girl working the window was rude about getting me my 90 cents change. Handed me 80 cents. I told her she is still short 10 cents, she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes at me, then went and go the dime. They also parked us when they were not busy. There were some other issues as well. Did the online survey thing, and no one from upper management (Juliard?) could be bothered to get back to me and address the concerns I have. I have also had problems with the young people working the first window to take payment, often playing on their cell phone, very little communication if any from them. That is wrong with actually working, and saying hello to a customer? Making eye contact and smiling. It really seems like there is a huge lack of supervision and management at this location. Juliard if you are reading this, you failed me as a customer. You should have followed up on the online customer survey and dealt with the issues. I will not be returning to this...
