I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience was truly frustrating.
When it was my turn, I didn’t step forward right away because the staff member was facing away and seemed to still be busy. I didn’t want to interrupt and thought she would call me when ready. However, she never said anything like “help the next one,” and even when I finally walked up, she didn’t greet me or acknowledge me.
I ordered a Sausage Scrambled Egg Loaded Box, but she repeated back “wrap?” I clearly said “Loaded Box” again. In the end, I received a box without sausage. When I asked, she just said she misheard—no apology, no care. I decided to let it go and eat it anyway.
Later, I lined up again to order a Honey Cruller, Strawberry-filled donut, and a Steeped Tea. After I told her I would pay with debit, she didn’t hand me the card machine. Instead, she turned away, chatted with coworkers, and ignored me for about 3 minutes. Then she turned back and asked me the same question again as if I hadn’t answered before.
While waiting for my items, I saw another customer (an elderly man) still missing a coffee. By order sequence, it should have been his, but the staff handed me my drink instead and had completely forgotten his. She looked very distracted the whole time, constantly turning to look at colleagues instead of focusing on the line of about 10 customers waiting.
Finally, when I noticed I was still missing part of my order, I said so. She silently grabbed the items and handed them over without eye contact, apology, or even a word. The entire interaction lacked basic courtesy and professionalism.
This is by far one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Tim Hortons. The mistakes, the lack of attention, and especially the complete absence of respect for customers left me extremely...
Read moreThis place is disgusting. I actually walked back in once after my wife had to return an order because it was wrong, she came to the car, I went inside for something else, and I hear them behind the counter TALKING ABOUT HER! They are constantly getting orders wrong, they serve soggy cold greasy old floppy hash browns, and then are shocked when someone comes in to return them. The owner says I'm the first person to complain about it, and I highly doubt that by looking at the reviews. So not only is this place trash, the owner is a liar and thought this would be some turnkey operation that they could just phone in and print money. Running a restaurant takes EFFORT and actually giving a ** about serving good food.
Support local small businesses and eat at Papa's Burgers across the street. It's amazing, and the same price for a meal. Try Dosirak down the street, also amazing. Try Ramen Eight right next door too. There's so many options for GOOD FOOD in Parksville, for around the same price, and you're not giving your money to these greasy cheats. THIS...
Read moreVery Poor Customer Service!! Asked for 2 bagels toasted, one with cream cheese, other with half butter & jam. Apparently jam, is a fee depending on how much you want. 25 cents for each small Kraft blister pack.... unlike most restaurants where its complimentary when you order bread/toast, etc. So, let that go, but when we got in the vehicle to go, the kids commented that the bagel with the cream cheese was "globbed" on in the centre about 2 inches thick and the other bagel didn't have the jam on it, had to put it on ourself. So, before leaving the parking lot I asked the employee why the bagel didn't have jam on it, she said "We don't put jam on." Hmmmm, so note to anybody else, if your getting butter or cream cheese, it will get slathered on, but other condiments are at a fee and you have to add it yourself. I totally get it, if your staying in the restaurant, but drive-thru or take out? The idea is to eat the food you buy, and ask for, and not having to modify or add later in the parking lot! Come on Timmies, you can do...
