If I could give the service at this place zero stars, I would. I got a bunch of coupons delivered to my house so I figured I'd use one to have breakfast here. Big mistake. A week ago I arrived at 11:00 am sharp and the sales guy at the till, a young fellow named Nathan, grabbed it and told me that breakfast was served until 10:30 am. I figured that being only 30 minutes late, they surely could do something so I asked him if something could be done. After rolling his eyes at me and giving me some attitude, he just grabbed his manager, who repeated exactly the same words, like a robot. "Breakfast is served until 10:30 and "the system" won't allow me to process your coupon." Fine, after getting my coupon back, I decided that it was too early for me to let this small inconvenient ruin the rest of my day and proceeded to go somewhere else. A week later; today, before 10:30 am I decided to go back and use my coupon. This boy, Nathan, was at the till and he started giving me attitude even before I could speak. He reluctantly took my coupon and he resolved to rudely ask: "what drink do you want?" The coupon didn't say the drink options and neither did the display menu behind him, so I asked him what my drink options were and he just pointed at the menu behind him. The one that didn't specify the drinks options at all. At this point I sarcastically asked him if he was able to tell me what my beverage options were, if he had time in his agenda (I did it because the place was empty except for me and a sweet old lady -this is Parksville, after all-) Nathan deigned to reply: "Soda or coffee?" "Coffee, please" - I said, as I paid with my debit card. The transaction had merely been processed when he stormed to the back leaving me there, with no sales receipt, he didn't even ask how many sugars, how many creams? no order number, he didn't ask my name... this sad boy clearly doesn't enjoy working here (but to be fair, who would?) After this adventure just to use a coupon at Wendy's, I decided not to come back for the bland, disappointing breakfast I had. Read moreI Made both an online pick up order as well as in person purchase. Neither experience reflected well on the staff customers service or ability to effectively do their job. While I have had mediocre to acceptable experience in some occasions this was only of i used the drive through. I waited 6 min at the counter before I was acknowledged. It was not busy. Ther was no one in front of me and I could see 5 employees. I was told oh no I'm going on break by an employee then 2 min later and after a conversation between two other employees one of them finally decided to take my order. 9 mins after arriving to an empty restrunqt with one pending pick up order ( my own) and one car in the drive-thru. The standard of acknowledging a custom who is waiting should possibly be introduced by the management team. The order i made online was incorrect with items missing or incorrect, while this was fixed when I came back to the window with an apology this was the first hind of any try at customers service. Do tour self a favor if you must eat at this location;keep to the drive through and keep your standards low. Visited this location on March 31st at 815 pm 2024 perhaps day time...
Read moreWell, we went through the drive thru, was asked to pay then they handed us the wrong order. We explained that this wasn't our order and they said they would be right back. Then they came back to the window and asked for more money $16.00 additional. Confused we explained we had just given him $50.00 cash he gave us back $15.00, why would he want more money for two meals?? He said you only paid for one meal? I said $33 00 is the cost for one meal? That's when his manager came to the window and explained that we had only paid $16.00 I showed him the change and they insisted that we needed to pay an additional $16.00 to get our meals. I got upset the manager then tells me to calm down....I explained that I came out for a meal at his business and paid for the meals and that if I didn't get my meals he would see upset. We got our meals and we left. NEVER AGAIN !!!! Business are failing because of staff who treat customers their livelihood like is really not needed.
