McDonald's — Restaurant in Parry Sound

I live in the area of this establishment and frequently visit for coffee and other items. Each time I order coffee, whether it's served cold or hot, the taste varies significantly. One would assume that they would have perfected this process by now. The coffee is kept in a carafe on a burner, which causes it to burn and develop a terrible bitter flavour; to be fair, the competition suffers from the same issue. This bitter coffee is then used for iced coffee, which only enhances the bitterness. I purchase hundreds of coffees and iced coffees annually, so I know what to expect, and the quality is deteriorating. Additionally, the staff often neglects to follow mixing instructions, using granulated sugar in iced coffee, pouring all the liquid sugar into one drink while omitting it from others, leading to complete inconsistency. When ordering more than four beverages don't overload the cheap paper caddy and put 5 drinks in them, they fall out and dont stay in. Regarding the food, it is seldom served hot and fresh. This location misuses the parking system, provides partial orders, and then makes you wait 5-10 minutes for the remainder. Why not serve everything at once? Metrics are important but these drivetrus are just as jammed up as they have always been. Accuracy is just as important as speed.. I've encountered stale buns, lukewarm meat with unmelted cheese, and missing toppings without any request to remove things, partially frozen fries.. When you call to address these issues, you are treated as if you've done something wrong, receiving excuses about being busy, yet shouldn't the food always be fresh? ( Especially due to the high cost of food these days) They then expect you to return, but not everyone eats in their cars, and after a long day, the last thing anyone wants is to drive back just to wait...

Man, I gotta be straight up with you about my recent experience at McDonald's, and it's not a pretty picture, not even close. I rolled up to the drive-thru with a glimmer of hope for some quick and easy grub, but what I got was a total letdown.

First off, the burger I ordered was a sad excuse for fast food. The patty looked like it had seen better days – it was dry, overcooked, and tasted like cardboard. Seriously, it was like biting into disappointment. The cheese was barely melted, and the lettuce and tomato were wilted and sad. It's like they couldn't be bothered to make a decent sandwich.

And don't even get me started on the fries, man. They were limp, cold, and tasted like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I mean, is it too much to ask for some hot, crispy fries at a fast food joint? Apparently, at this McDonald's, it is.

To make matters worse, the service was about as friendly as a rainy day at the beach. The staff barely acknowledged my presence, and they got my order wrong not once, but twice. I had to go inside and wait in a line that moved slower than rush hour traffic just to get my simple order fixed.

I don't know what's going on at this particular McDonald's, but it's a total buzzkill, man. The poor quality of the food and the lackluster service left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be hitting up this Mickey D's anytime soon. It's safe to say I won't...

I have been to this location four times in 3 months to get a fair idea of the service and atmosphere. I've been here for breakfast and lunch over this period.

The pros: -The staff are very friendly when you order and make an effort to chat a bit as you wait if they are not too busy. -modern looking location with nice decor and seating options.

The cons: -There is always a garbage problem. ALWAYS. The staff have to know how many people are coming off the highway and tossing garbage as they come into the building. There are 2 main garbage cans in the parking lot and they are overflowing no matter what time I have come before 5pm (morning or afternoon). They absolutely need more garbages. -the bathrooms suck. The ladies bathroom has an awkward layout. It only has 3 stalls and the door is missing off of one. The bathroom sink is very shallow so there is always water splatter on the floor and mirror. The men's bathroom frequently has pee on the floors. -if you mention the dirty bathrooms or garbage to staff they go from very friendly...
