G-Ma's Ice Cream and Bakery — Restaurant in Penetanguishene

I don't leave reviews on Google, but I leave reviews because I had such a bad experience. I and my friend went camping at a nearby pp and searched for a high-rated place to buy ice cream for the children and visited here on the last day of the trip. The internet didn't work well in that area, so I couldn’t find the right way on google map and arrived around 6:40. She was collecting signs outside so I asked if the store was closed and she said she had 10 minutes. But the store closing time was 7 o'clock on Google. From the moment we entered the store, she had a bad look on her face, and our kids had to pay attention to her because she sighed every time we placed an order. I wanted to get out of the store, but I put up with it because of the children, and my friend put up with it and asked her if we were bothering you now. She forced a smile and said no, but she was equally unkind. We weren't the last guests, and customers came in after that. The worst thing is that she told us to take the order all at once and pay the bill without asking us. We want to separate bills but she said to us that “I already received the order input all at once, so I can't do it, if you want, you to take care of yourself and get it through e-Transfer. My friend said it strongly, so she did the calculation again. We received the worst customer service we've never received anywhere else, and we wanted to complain strongly, but we put up with it because of the children. She shouldn't have received customers if she wanted to close the store early. She had received a guest to make more money, she had to keep the least courtesy to the guest. Even our children complained about her attitude all the way home because of her rudeness. I hope she feels ashamed of the behaviour she did in front of...

At times, I am dubious about such highly rated businesses, but I googled bakery and this establishment came up. We checked it out. This place is not fancy, this place is not big, there is not a huge selection of items, but damn.... The French Toast muffins were to die for! So good, so fresh! Inhaled it..... Also purchased a tray of chocolate chip cookies to take to a friends house. After dinner, out come the cookies. Thinking, well they are just chocolate chip cookies.... My friend took one and had a bite... And just stared at me ... Did you make these? No, I got them at G'Ma's. They were amazed! I think, the best chocolate chip cookie ever was mentioned..
