A welcome addition to Penticton offering carefully prepared and flavorful Vietnamese classics. The pho is delicious and substantial with all the accoutrements; the house-made beef balls are a nice touch but for the uninitiated be prepared for a bit of tendony texture. I wouldn't have minded more noodles but there is plenty of leftover broth if one has rice noodles at home. The salad rolls are also excellent with crisp lettuce and a nice crunch from the picked daikon and carrots. Service is friendly and punctual. The pho was aromatic, fresh and well balanced not salty like some we have had, the banh was very good (next time we will get more hot sauce), all the veggies where very fresh, the pork was tender and the bread classic. Read moreI really wanted to like it, but I find it... boring. The spring rolls were tiny, like a roll of dimes, and very hard. It's 7 bucks for 2 and I wouldn't pay a dollar for 2. I ordered the brisket pho and the beef ball pho - $13.75 each, worth about $7. The bowls are small, very little meat. They forgot to include one of the hoisen sauce.
The bottom line, I can make the same at home for 1/4 the price and twice the quality.
