Lala Ji’s pizzeria — Restaurant in Penticton

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered pizza was told 35-40 minutes. Arrived and was told to come back in 20 minutes. Got home and had the wrong order (missing a salad and garlic bread) but had another chicken dish. When I called he said I never ordered those things. When ordering initially he did repeat back to me and all things were ordered. My husband went back to the store to get the food which he then made my husband FACETIME ME to prove we didn’t have the food we were missing. He stated he wanted us to return the chicken dish back to the store as it is somebody else’s after it’s been in my home. He stated he would not give us our other food which had already been paid for until he got the chicken back. Employee is extremely unprofessional and rude. Not apologetic at all, this was a mistake made by him but he wasn’t able to acknowledge this . We left the store and did not return at that point he continued to call our phone over 6 times . Maybe this guy wouldn’t have made such a mistake if he bothered to remove his AirPods and get off his phone while dealing...

Our favourite pizza in town! Basic pizza sauce has a nice balance of spices and flavour (the other sauces are worth trying a well!). Regular pan crust is pretty much perfect every time we order. Generous toppings/good ratios (ie. pepperoni has 2 layers of pepperoni and cheese!) . Not overcooked like some chains tend to be; the cheese is still gooey! Order 2 or 3 smalls and try a few different flavours; you won't be disappointed! I want this restaurant to succeed and be around for a long time, so my one tip would be to offer dipping sauces! From the time I called for take out it was an hour and a half before my food was ready- all I ordered was wings: 24 lemon pepper, 24 bbq, garlic toast. The young man working there was nice but very slow, wearing a stained old sweatshirt which should have been my first warning. The bbq wings came with a long, straight, black hair draped across the top of the container (I did not get those). The front of the place is dusty, run-down, and not very clean. If this is what they present to the customers, God knows what the kitchen is like. Not worth...
