Went in and sat down the other day with my mom and friend works as a McDonald’s shift leader in Vernon. The young man who took our order was extremely nice and patient while we took our time deciding what we wanted. We could tell he was a little nervous haha. We placed our order for 2 quarter cheese meals and a double cheeseburger meal with ease, and we payed with a gift card which I had bought a prior! We ended up waiting about 18 minutes for it, and in the end one of the quarter cheeses didn’t even have cheese on it! While we were waiting, we noticed 2 other customers waiting around us who didn’t have their masks on, and we were confused as to why they weren’t being enforced when there were 2 other signs in the restaurant mentioning it. After noticing our order was made incorrectly, we wanted to speak to the manager but the boy who took our order was the only employee serving and actually paying attention to the guests on the front counter. He was taking everyone’s orders and taking care of us while the manager (she had grey hair and glasses, was wearing a blue t-shirt) kept pacing around the restaurant being extremely loud and sipping on her drink. She repeatedly shouted at the young man making fries and the one with a headset on bagging drive through orders, while at the same time she just stood there there not doing anything. My wife, and I, along with my friend and the other group of people in the lobby looked at each other in disbelief as to why this woman was verbally abusing her employees who clearly needed help. Each of us were extremely disappointed in the service we received. I go to this McDonald’s at least once a month with my mom and I know that their senior manager Debbie holds her management team to higher standards than what were being carried...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the behavior of the manager and assistant manager towards DoorDash delivery drivers. They are consistently rude and unprofessional.
In my extensive experience delivering hundreds of orders, this store has never once had an order ready on time. Every single order has been delayed.
As a result, we consistently lose valuable delivery time because the minimum wait at this store is always at least 10 minutes.
These delays negatively impact our delivery ratings as we are unable to deliver on time.
When we request them to hurry up, they respond with a lot of attitude and dismissively tell us to complain to whoever we want, showing they simply do not care. They rudely insist that they cannot give orders faster and claim they are doing their best, which is clearly not true given the consistent delays.
Particularly, they also scare me by saying they will block me from deliveries if I ask them to give orders earlier, which impacts my earnings. It feels like they are trying to intimidate me, saying things like “we’ll block you and see how...
Read moreWHAT HAPPENED TO MCDONALD'S??? We went because there was no lineup...I thought they were closed. I haven't been to a Mickey Dees in years. $50 for 3 meals??? The medium drinks were the size of the old large, the large were like the old 7-11 big gulps... All 3 of us felt physically sick afterwards. The fries were rubbery and gross, the big macs had the tiniest little circles of "meat". The syrup mix on the drinks was WAY off. It was, and I kid you not, one of the worst junk meals I've had in my entire life. I used to work at one of these, the oldest one in Canada as a matter of fact, as did my wife, we were both blown away by just how bad this was. The employees were gross looking, the food was gross looking, the bill was gross looking, and the food was GROSS. If McDonald's is reading this and tries to put a "oh gosh please contact customer support so we can rectify this" SAVE IT. You know what your stores have become. Just go out of business, because 100% I know why there was no lineup at dinner time on a long weekend now....
