Update-April 30th 2025 I went back. I had no time and I was needing a rice bowl for a diet I’m trying out. I got a falafel bowl and the flavour was so bland. The rice again was like day care food. I asked if she had a low fat sauce. She explained that three sauces had fat but these certain sauces don’t. I asked what they are made of and she said sour cream. I explained sour cream has fat in it and she said these ones don’t. I did not have faith in this process but I said sure, just a little squeeze but not much. She covered my bowl completely with sauce. Even without that mishap, the food is sooo boring. If you buy an old El Paso taco kit, you will be so much better off. Good service. Pathetic food. Oh, my wife got a ground beef bowl and the beef was cold, like, still had a sheen of white from the fat hardening on the meat. 🤷‍♂️ Both out bowls were absolutely cold. zero warmth. Stay away. This place won’t be open long and the corners places cut to try to stay afloat…you don’t want that in your mouth. Last thing. The owner is a $&!? apparently (reading other reviews) and keeps every penny of any tip you give. And, remember, the only redeeming thing about this “restaurant” is the staff who actually deserve the tip. Stay away. Support a local restaurant somewhere. So many options.

First time eating here. Very pleasant staff and the restaurant appeared clean. I ordered a veg bean wrap on whole wheat. Wrap was fresh and didn’t break apart. So why the low score? The flavour was…meh. It tasted fine but just no flare and no signature taste. I guess everything tasting ok but, I wish they would’ve grill or pressed my wrap longer. Too soft while eating it. I missed the slight crunch you normally get at other places. I got medium spice salsa and it had zero heat. The dirty rice was ok but totally tasted like boxed rice. Don’t think I’ll go back. But, if your not into bold flavours and have a hard time eating authentic Mexican then, you might want to try this place. Cleanliness: Service-10/10 Dining...

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a falafel burrito bowl, but when we received it, the black beans were not cooked properly. We brought this to the attention of the staff, and they were understanding and tried to help. However, when they called the owner to address the issue, things took a turn for the worse.

The owner was extremely rude and uncooperative. After much effort, we convinced him to replace the bowl, but he refused to include falafel in it, even though we had already paid for it. Instead, he only allowed us to get a regular bowl. This was completely unfair and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, the owner also denied us drink refills, even though refills were supposed to be included. It was embarrassing when a staff member actually restricted us from refilling our drinks. On top of that, we had to wait nearly an hour for our food, which was frustrating.

Overall, the staff was polite and tried to assist us, but the owner’s behavior completely ruined our experience. Poor customer service, long wait times, and unfair treatment made this visit very disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant...

Update (2023-07-31): Updating review to say that Cascabowl's crew stepped up in a big way! I've now tried this location several times and been quite satisfied with the burritos, tacos, and bowls! I think the original food quality was just a symptom of a brand new restaurant still finding it's cadence. In the six months since then, the staff has really learned the menu. Everything now tastes great, and the team is super friendly. This is a really nice addition to town.

Original Review: Ordered a steak bowl, and found myself disappointed with the result. The steak seemed like the same kind of prepacked shaved beef that Subway serves. It didn't have much flavour to it. Hot salsa was nice and spicy and had a great flavour to it, but I didn't feel like anything else did. The mild salsa was very thin, almost like a tomato juice instead of a salsa. Burrito sauce was very garlicky and heavy on the sour cream. I didn't feel like anything was very flavourful. The portion was small, filling about half the bowl. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I really wanted to like the food. It's a new location, hopefully it will...
