Chopstics — Restaurant in Peterborough

Just ordered,was going to order our usual dragon yan, but was excited to try chopsticks,checked reviews and sounded good! We order from all Chinese food places in ptbo. And this place is by far the worst! The chinese food is worse than terrible.Workers are friendly but general tso has no chkn in it and is hard as a rock!!! The salmon sushi was fine,Chicken fried rice tastes very fishy. The pad Thai is chicken lo mein, and also tastes fishy! Spring rolls, mush inside! And wonton soup no flavourful!!!! Also the white rice was very bad aswell lol. Pretty upset!! Had to throw mostly everything in garbage felt like someone had taken something from us. Wld usually call and complain but workers didn't seem to understand English at all really, and we were so upset just wanted to forget about it. In no world shld you be allowed to serve food like tht. And charge top dollar! And funny thing when I opened containers I said to wife and she agreed portions very small! So we both said it must be good! Nope lol. LITERALLY exactly 1 hour from when I ordered soup until it was placed on the table.

After waiting 25 minutes for our soup order, the cook came to the table to tell us they were uut of beef balls, so every order from 5 of us had to be changed.

After 40 minutes they brought the soup, but they put brisket in mine which I did not order. I ordered rare beef and beef ball soup wirh DOUVLE MEAT. After 20 more minutes they brought my soup. WithOUT double meat. My family had finished their soup and I had to eat alone while they waited for me to finish.

No washroom. I walked down the hall to see one door only, labelled, 'PRIVATE AREA'.

Literally had to call waitress to ask for napkins after food served. No hot sauce, salt, pepper...

The restaurant was practically empty and only 1 pickup wirhin the hour. One man had just finished eating and left, and another man was waiting for his takeout.

The time we were there, 3 customers came in and sat down over the 1-1/2 hours and one had take-out. No excuse for such terrible service.

How was the food? Very little taste. I suggest going to Lansdowne Place and getting the Thai noodle soup. You won't be...

We've been here a few times so far, and it's the perfect spot for a quiet date night.

The service has always been excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. First time we went they were just about to close and we hadn't noticed, but they stayed open just so we could have dinner dining in. The staff is very friendly and treats everyone like family.

The atmospher is very cozy and homely. Seating is comfortable and since there are only four tables, the restaurant stays at a good noise level.

Last but not least, the amazing food! Everything comes out at a reasonable time and with fantastic presentation. We almost feel bad eating it! Everything we've tasted is fantastic and fresh. You can tell that they put a lot of effort making sure everything is above and beyond.

We're making this our usual date night spot and on days when we can't dine in, we will definately be ordering take out. We love...
