Taco Bell — Restaurant in Peterborough

The 1-star reviews are accurate. I am surprised anyone goes here, the food is awful AND expensive. The customer service is awful too, and they still ask you to tip. For fast food.

The crunchwrap I received was tiny with an incredibly thin layer of bland bean paste and barely any other toppings. Each bite was mostly dry tortilla. On its own, it is over $9 after tax! For a few dollars more, you can get a burrito the size of a small baby at most other mexican joints in town.

I haven't had taco bell in over a decade and decided to sample their offerings again. I ordered said crunchwrap, two different burritos, 4 different tacos, and a fries supreme. It came to just over $50 total. The fries supreme was not in the bag when I got home, and no receipt so no proof that I paid for something I didn't get.

All of it was worse than dog food. I only barely finished the crunchwrap. The burritos were under-filled, like the crunchwrap. The "beef" in the tacos and burritos was 90% just the bland bean paste with an awful texture. The photo is of the burrito supreme "beef"... does that look like beef to you?

I swear there was less beef/bean paste across everything I ordered than what you would get with just one large burrito from another mexican place.

What actually happened to taco bell? This was so bad that I guarantee I will never return. Why would I when there are now at least 4 or 5 different options with better food, better value, and...

KFC/Taco Bell 595 Lansdowne Street Peterborough currently is promoting a "Big Box Meal". If you use the drive-through you can clearly see the "Big Box Meal" on their menu board. You may also notice that this store will post on the outside of their menu board when they will only accept credit or debit transactions. Looks like they are capable of communicating when they have expectations of the customer. However, I have ordered the "Big Box Meal" on 3 separate occasions. On each occasion I received the "Big Box Meal", without the "Box". KFC/Taco Bell has been in business for many years. My concern is if the company's overhead is reflected in the amount charged for the "Big Box Meal", which includes the "Box", why do they not tell the consumer they don't have the "Box" and give the consumer the opportunity to choose. Consider this, how many times has this company failed to deliver as promised? 10 , 50, 100, 1000, 10,000 times. The company makes an additional profit by shorting orders. Call it what you will...false advertising?, fraud...extortion? They are in essence Knowingly stealing from you, taking advantage of the consumer each and every time they knowingly short the order. Update Sept 2023- Not the kind of consistency I want in a fast food place. I guess ordering Family pack tacos and 2 Value Box meals was difficult. Family Pack tacos- Check 1st value box combo- Check 2nd Value box combo- Drink only!!!!!!

Call up and get sorry, can I get your number and your next meal will be FREE. FREE???? I already paid for it with delivery yet have to go in to get what I ordered is far from FREE!!!! Food is o.k, just wish the employees listened more and only have 1 person deal with the order. They dont know what others do unless they ask and when busy they dont they will assume other person has put everything they didnt into the bag leaving out part of the order.

Wouldnt be so bad if I lived 2 minutes away, but driving back 15 mins each way wasting gas for their mistakes is unacceptable.

If someone orders 4 beef burritos and adds steak and rice, paying for each you may want to inclide what they pay for. Getting home and biting into a burrito and the beef and cheese from the BEEF BURRITO is not present is disappointing. If someone orders fries and says add cheese do you leave out the fries?
