McDonald's — Restaurant in Peterborough

I don’t like leaving a single star review, but this visit unfortunately merits it.

My wife ordered her meal electronically, and as I had 10000 points to redeem, ordered my Big Mac immediately after.

My sandwich came out within 5 minutes and expecting the other to come out shortly after, I paid for it.

With my Big Mac getting cold, I had to chase down her meal after waiting over 10 minutes. Staff seemed lost and had to check where the order was. Waited another 5 minutes and finally got our meal.

Didn’t end there though as the burgers were sloppy and fries were just awful - likely cooked much earlier in the day/afternoon and left for a long time before finally being served.

Almost cold, opposite of crispy and just not a great taste. To make matters worse, feedback to staff went completely unacknowledged.

With a full McDonalds restaurant just over the road, if you’re really feeling like you need fast food, might be worth...

To the guy working the cash register at 1:20pm on August 24th, deserves a promotion: Transaction 79GLKBLG1N. My mobile order went through but disappeared, compounding the problem, it was during a rush and it seemed like there was only one other person working at the back. His hustle during the rush, still being friendly despite the complaints while working like a machine, and communicating to the people waiting, was pretty impressive. If there's a small business owner, you need to poach this talent away. I can't credit McDonald's on their training, because I've never seen anyone working like that at any of their restaurants. There were 2 people working, and maybe 15 customers waiting. Irritated customers, and slow service was inevitable, but the situation was managed the best...

This place is a joke. Sat at the drive through screen for 10 min watching cars keep going through the other lane. Could not believe it the guy behind me sat in the same lane as me and was stun how they could just keep serving one line and not the other. What’s the point of having two lans. Finally had enough and went to the window and blew the horn. Had 4 people looking at me like a deer in the head lights and would not open the window still I started yelling. All I wanted was a couple McFlurrys. Just on real how these fast food places in these town run there business these day. I can honestly say must be the worst mc Donald’s in this town.
