A bit of confusion during my first visit. I wanted to use the bathroom before I placed my order. Apparently the first two bathrooms were closed, but only one of them had a sign at the door saying that the bathroom is temporarily closed. I went into the first washroom thinking it was open, and there was no soap in the dispenser. When I went to the front desk saying that there was no soap in it, the barista told me I can use one of the other bathrooms. I said, "Oh I thought it was closed" and she was like, "Oh no you can go ahead." Again, I tried using one of the closed bathrooms, again no soap. When I went to the front desk and said neither of the bathrooms had soap, she said "Oh, I'm sorry. Are you ready to order?" Ummm, no I'm not ready to order, I want to use the bathroom! I spoke with a different barista, who came out and finally told me which bathroom was open to the public, there was a third handicapped bathroom that I didn't notice. I had a pumpkin spice cold brew, which was tasty. I forgot to add oat milk to my order, and after I already paid, I asked the barista to change it. I asked him, "Is there an extra charge for that?" The barista said "Normally yes, but don't worry about it." Which was nice.
I enjoyed my order but didn't enjoy my...
Read moreI would loved to have rated this location a 5 given how much I love Starbucks, but as this is a relatively new store there is undoubtedly still some growing pains. To start I'd like to point out the positives. The drive though was quick. The service was extremely friendly, as I have grown accustomed to with this franchise, and the order was as placed. If I could point out the little things that would seperate this location from others, which I've rated a 5, it would have to be that I wasn't offered a topped for my coffee. When I asked for one they quickly obliged but ended up stilling my coffee down the cup and then without wiping it proceeded to hand it to me with coffee running down the cup. In the end there was no real foul but it really is the small things that make the difference, even though I was taught to not sweat the small thing in life. In my opinion that's what separates the good from the excellent. I look forward to going their again soon:) Keep up the friendly...
Read moreStart with five stars for appealing architecture, predictable latte quality, generally clean premises and friendly staff. Minus a star for the wretched atmosphere due to the loud noise coming out of the speakers, which I think was music. It sounded like an AI-generated blend of Katy Perry and American Authors. I wondered, as I left without ordering anything, if perhaps it was an experiment to see how sounds played through the speakers affects customer turnover. Minus another star for the abysmal layout of the parking lot and drive-through— it really is too bad that the franchisee couldn’t work out an arrangement with Shoppers to improve access, parking, and good vibes for customers on both sides of the fence. It simply screams antagonistic owners and a profit-over-people ethic. Speaking of which, minus another star for Starbucks corporate for being a greedy, anti-competitive,...
