My Mother, daughter & nieces visited the mall this afternoon. We decided to have lunch & I placed a mobile order through the app. There were many other individuals who were also waiting for their orders. An employee announced an order number, but didn't speak loud enough for anyone waiting to hear. I asked another person who was waiting if they heard the number they called, but they weren't sure what had been called. I approached the counter to find out what number had been called & was ignored by every employee working there. I finally asked the cashier if she could tell me if it was my order that was bagged & sitting there, to which she responded "Oh, I don't know" & didn't bother to check. Mind you this particular employee had literally been standing around doing absolutely nothing the whole time I'd been waiting. I could see one male employee boxing fries, making the drinks, bagging the orders...while the female employee did nothing to assist. Other order numbers were called while this random bag sat there with the food inside getting cold. Finally an employee checks the bag & calls out the order number which was mine. I said to the female employee who I had asked earlier if the order was mine, "I has asked you if that order was mine & you said I don't know & didn't bother to check! My food has now been sitting there for 10 minutes & I could have already been eating if you'd checked my order." Then another male employee appears to announce "We called that order", not sure how this employee would know as he wasn't around while I'd been standing there waiting. Let's just say this was a disappointing experience, my family's food was cold by the time we received it & the employees basically told me I should have been there when they called the number. Read moreI’ve frequented this restaurant for 4 months now, my 2* review is very thought out and was given more than a fair chance to average out. I’ve had a small handful of 4-5 star experiences, mostly 2-3 star; seeing the overall rating is 3, I’ll select the 2 star option to even it out. I once ordered a happy meal with a toy, there was no toy, no yoghurt, and the drink was wrong — I had to go back (I had left) and the staff explained they were out of the missing items, but they didn’t substitute them OR let me know they were out, they just simply excluded them. A separate occasion I was given a yoghurt that was bad, I didn’t check if it was expired or just poorly stored, but it was sour and I it was thrown out quickly. I frequently have to ask for more, and more, and more pepper (the standard packets contain very little content as opposed to salt containing a LOT in the same sized packet, so it takes more to get a satisfactory amount); I placed a mobile order and maxed out my items by adding 15 pepper packages hoping I’d get what would equate to a few shakes from a dispenser without having to ask for more multiple times, I was given three. 3! From 15?! Come on! Yesterday I placed an order for a smoothie and I stood waiting for 12 minutes before I lined up to be able to ask the busy staff if they missed it, no one even realized that the same person was standing waiting for so long. I created a moblie order and when i had my uncle there to collect my food they told me my payment had failed EVEN THOUGH the payment went through on my end. So i decided to call them and they proceeded to tell me that nobody was out front waiting for an order and that they knew nothing about it. After i told the woman that i was told by chemong mcdonalds that if the payment did not go through on their end and DID on mine that they have to give me the food. I was told by the woman that she could do nothing because on her end the payment did not through. Not only did i show proof the mobile order was there but also proof of payment. So i told her that i would have to get some legal help if they were not going to give me my money back or give me my food. to top it off A multibillionnare company cannot afford to loose 48 dollars If they were to give me my food That is what this woman told me.
