Sticks Sports Pub — Restaurant in Peterborough

Ended up going to this Pub unexpectedly. We were going to a show at the Peterborough Memorial center and didn't expect there to be so little in the area to grab a quick bite. The beer was cold and tasty and that is where the positive food experience ends. Two orders of fish and chips and an order of chicken wings at our table and all anyone could say with any certainty was it was greasy. What I will say was the service from everybody was wonderful. The staff was pleasant , helpful and courteous. So if you're just looking for a cold beer and some pleasant service this is the place for you but...

Get the burger; probably one of the best I've ever had! And we eat out a lot. I love it with just a skiff of mayo. The burger is so good in my opinion that's all it needs, and I am a sauce person. I always get it accompanied with fries and gravy on the side and a mega mugs of one of the brews on tap. The good food accompanied with a friendly, efficient and good looking wait staff always makes a watering hole that I like to frequent on a lazy afternoon.
