My boyfriend and I visited this place for the first time and we are never coming back. The first thing we noticed was how surprised the guy at the counter seemed when we said we would like to dine in and werenât there to pick up an order, the next thing was how dirty the place was. Trash was all over the floor, the chairs were dusty and had stains on them, the window sills were dirty and dusty with dead bugs and sticky looking spills on them. The only clean part was the table tops. Staff was very loud and the waitress was sitting down, doing nothing as we walked in. As she gave us our menus, she didnât ask if she could get us a drink. I had to ask for a drink when she came back to ask for our food orders. We got salads to go with our spaghetti dinner and there were pits in my olives and a whole tomato cut into four pieces. The lettuce was also brown. The waitress came back to check on us and I was finished my salad so she asked me to take my fork (they didnât bring us new forks for our spaghetti), and my boyfriend had a bite left and the waitress stood there and watched him eat his last bite and made him very uncomfortable. There was also a big chunk of garlic in my greek salad. The spaghetti was super disappointing. We got the same thing, only difference was that I got cheese on mine and my boyfriend didnât. He got a huuuuge plate of spaghetti while I got a small skillet. He had no meatballs in his even though it says meatballs are included on the menu so I gave him some of mine and they were pink inside. The noodles were chewy. The sauce was oily, as if they didnât drain the fat from the beef. Neither of us could finish. We were both so disgusted so we ask to get take out boxes to leave. The âtake out boxesâ were tin foil pie shells and the lids were paper plates⌠that the waitress put on the nasty window sill and got dirt on the plates. We ended up throwing out the food. We both got stomach aches even though we did not eat much at all. Very disappointing and disgusting experience. We will not be going back. Please save your money and time and do...
Read moreWe stopped by the Spaghetti House last night (June 2, 2023) because we had heard really good things about the food. Unfortunately, we can't tell, since we never received our order.
We were going to a show across the street from the Spaghetti House and budgeted in an hour and a half to have a meal before hand. After a short wait, we were seated, and placed our order: two sodas and a medium pizza. We informed the server that we had a show to get to, and she assured us that the food would be done in 30 - 40 minutes.
After 45 minutes, we still hadn't gotten our food, and after some effort, managed to flag down our server. She apologized for the wait and assured us that it would be another 15 minutes until our pizza arrived.
After another 20 minutes had passed, we put $5 on the table for the drinks and went to leave, stopping briefly to tell our server that we'd run out of time. She tried to get us to stay and that she'd find out how much longer our order would be, but we were out of time.
Now in the time we sat and placed our orders, we watched orders arrive to the two tables nearest to us, the patrons there eat their meals, leave, both tables refill with new customers, order, and receive their food. We get that Friday is a busy night, but that's beyond reason.
We'll probably never give the Spaghetti House another try. The atmosphere was good though (love the Ralph Steadman print on the wall). It's too bad that they can't figure out how to get a pizza to somebody in...
Read moreLast time I had dined in at the Spaghetti House, the Pizza was very good, had good ingredients and generous amounts of it. The owner himself made it and served it.
That experience was tarnished when I ordered two large pizzas last night! I wanted to support small local business, not large franchise food outlets. So here is my story and experience yesterday..
My order was one 4-toppings pizza with two additional toppings, and one Hawaiian pizza with creamy garlic sauce base (instead of red tomato sauce) with extra ham and extra pineapple, added onions.
From ordering time of 7:18 pm, it was delivered at 9:12 pm, both pizzas were stone cold and cheese completely hardened.
There were no greenpeppers, hardly any mushrooms on 4-toppings pizza. The extra pineapple and ham that I ordered were less than regular amounts without extra request.
Both pizza crusts were burned to charcoal black. You do not serve this kind of food to paying customers.
The young boy who delivered the pizza was hard to understand as spoke with a very thick accent, but I could heard him trying to say he had many other deliveries to do on the same run. But they could have kept the pizzas in a thermal blanket case. I tipped and said it was not acceptable to serve cold pizzas on a winter day, almost 2 hrs after placing the order.
You have lost a local business supporting customer,...
