Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Peterborough

My family and I drive by this location every weekend we go to the trailer. We recieved good service once, out of many times. After many times of ordering a bagel with butter and cheese, and receiving a dry bagel, I decided to check this time before driving off. As you can see in the second picture the bagel was pretty much dry. The only reason why it has any colour is because I had it sitting with the cheese on it for a while before taking the picture (you can tell because of the straight line). So I waited for the employee to open the window and politely asked if I can have more butter on my bagel please, then showed her there was none there. She was nice enough to say that because of covid she couldn't take the bagel back and would have to make a new one (this is understandable). To which I responded "if you don't mind that would be great". When she closed the window I heard a lot of bickering back n forth. She then gave me another bagel and the first picture clearly shows the maturity level of the people that work there. It's obvious that they intentionally put more butter than was needed, and even put a bunch on the outside of the bagel. If this was a one time problem it could have been overlooked. But as I said before there is always issues at this location and I've even witnessed other customers screaming at employees because of problems they have had. I would not recommend going here!! There are other locations nearby. I understand being in the food industry is not easy, which is why I always tip well for good service. But the service and conduct here is disgusting and the owner or manager really needs to step up and fix it! The incident I'm writing about happened at 4:50pm on Sunday...

I purchased a 50 pack of Tim bits. I called the manager, Sarah to say that I was charged and my granddaughter was charged for the same item that’s double dipping, the manager Sarah was very unprofessional. Meanwhile, I always use my phone when I’m paying and collecting my points it’s disgusting to pay $20 for a 50 pack of Tim bits instead of $10. First the manager Sarah said that my granddaughter should check her bank because it showed that it was paid for through the app and then how convenient that later the story changed, Sarah than said no it didn’t go through the app you just collected points and that’s the reason my granddaughter had to use her debit. Not only that she telling us what happened when she didn’t even want to see our phones to see the points coming off or the money going out of her account. After that I wanted to speak to the owners because Sarah kept talking over me and not letting me explain, she was just shoving the camera footage that showed my granddaughter scanning the phone and then being told to still pay with debit. All in all I have yet to hear back from the owners and this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with Tim Hortons.

Nothing against the food, so this review may seem petty so take it how you will. But this was the first tummies I went to that doesn't do dog timbits. My dog just recovered from surgery and got his stitches out and he hadn't been able to have any snacks for 2 weeks while recovering. Since he loves the odd timbit I went here and ordered several things for myself and just wanted one plain timbit for him. I've never had a location thay doesn't do it but they apparently do. I asked for one at the window and the guy said ok and left like he went to get one, but when he came back he said "so you want that separate or..." and it wasn't until a lady at the back told me they don't do dog timbits that it was communicated to me id have to pay for it. The guy may have been new so nothing against him. I was just disappointed after buying several items for myself to be told its the first location I've come across that doesn't give out a single timbit for a puppy. And i waited a bit with the impression they were getting it for me only to be met with a confused worker that needed someone else to chime in and just say they dont do that.
