I’ve always liked Tim Hortons. It was a place I went to growing up to grab a coffee or doughnut. But unfortunately, throughout the years, they haven’t been able to keep up the same quality as to what I was used to when I was young. The food and beverages are great, don’t get me wrong, but what truly troubles me is the way employees are treated. I was always used to a genuine smiling face when getting my dark roast before, but any time I go through the drive through here it feels as if I’m being incredibly rushed. I am aware there are times needing to be up held, but when that compromises the quality of service overall, it becomes an issue. I also know it’s not the fault of the employees, they are just doing what they are told, I’ve even witnessed managers getting upset at employees for not being quick enough and then upset again when they inevitably mess up an order. I will no longer be coming here due to the mistreatment of workers. A simple request to remove my hash brown from my sausage wrap and place it on the side, resulted in a huge confrontation on how " they are missing out on a $1.50!" Way to confirm the bottom line, nevermind customer service. Let's put this into perspective. I've already paid for the hash brown in my order, but that's not acceptable Tim Hortons or Anna insists on charging you double. I believe this is illegal. I received the wrong order, and numerous other people walked in having gone through the drive through either missing something or having had something wrong with their orders. I went back up to cash to order something else, and proceeded to wait for way too long while the employees were behind the counter not completing drive through orders, but chatting and GOOFING OFF and gossiping while ignoring me and others.
