Read moreI have been coming to this place from Oshawa for many years. Table service is very poor. My wife once went to ask them to clean table, they handed her cleaning materials to do it herself. Always have come here because of good food ONLY not service, up until today. Today I reached with my family at 9:38pm, like 8 minutes after when their policy kicks in for dine in. They refused to take my dine in order and were preparing food for already placed orders which were 8 mins before me for like 5-6 families not just 5-6 ppl. The guy working at the kitchen (owner) was asked for me to take my dine in order, which he straight up refused giving a non-logical and lame excuse for not taking my order. He said by the time my order will be served, it will pass 10pm which is their closing time so NO. It’s not that the families whose food didn’t arrive yet, will arrive in 20mins and they will finish eating before 10pm otherwise they will be kicked out. If not, then why not take my order, as the families dining in before me can even take longer then me to finish eating food and even be served very close to 10pm for their food order isn’t it , as this was the lame excuse the owner was trying to make by not taking my order. I was not alone but had come with my family from far away, no respect or courtesy was shown whatsoever. This was a sorry attempt for an excuse by staff and owner. The worse thing is after I decided not to dine in as they said take out option available only. I decided to opt for Take Out only knowing that they don’t have any rice left to serve. Why have a policy in effect when there is no rice left. Either closed taking orders and straight up refuse or just accept orders. Pass 9:30pm I figured they were trying to sell their left over food and trust me their take out order have had many complaints as the food quality gets greatly compromised. Moreover when a customer speaks to the owner, if it comes to this, he should be flexible and show respect towards customers, not be rude and talk over them. I love this place,the meat is seasoned Perfectly but its self destructing fast and heres why .
This is a bbq Meat establishment with many concerns from the community
It starts from The Owners. They are the "chefs" in the kitchen most of the time + a few random hires off the street and guess what? None of them understand how to BBQ Meat properly. I can guarantee none of them have any cooking or chef certifications what so ever. Meat is always Overcooked or Undercooked . If you got an order that was cooked right count your blessings because it wasnt intentionally made .
There should be a certified cullinary chef in the kitchen at all times. If the owners CANT lead a good example, how do you expect random people u hire off the street to do better ?
Please use meat thermometers / timers, develope some system to produce consistent results
A wealthy family has apppointed their spoiled careless kids to run this establishment as a hobby with a total who gives a fluke attitude.
The results are obvious from their lack of consistency with orders not meeting expectations , communication, professionalism and very careless approach toward the restaurant game. 3⭐

quick fix : HIRE A PRO CHEF or Owners Seek professional training on BBQ ing meats to produce perfect results each and every single time ! NO compromise .
This restaurant should be 4.8 / 4.9 stars from thousands of reviewers and packed in house with people 7 days a week because their food is seasoned properly, YOU JUST CANT COOK fellas. The experience here should not be a hit or missed. you have to produce business level results off the line each and every plate ! no excuses
