Terrible management and staff. Went to event last night completely sober, with my family from Trinidad thinking to carry them out for a good night before they leave on Sunday. Waiting for another member of our party to reach, i drank one single beer in the back of building trying to be discrete not trying to make it seem like I wanted everybody to know Iām drinking (just a quick beer while my friend literally just pulled into parking lot) where as seen there were several cars in parking lot trunks open, drinking alcohol, weed smoking. Owner then targets my group, and instantly insults us calling us little punks, telling us that āthis is not a place for little punks.ā And āthere not going to let us in at the door so donāt be crying like babies.āOn a more professional approach he could have been like āhey buddy your not allowed to drink in parking lot, do you mind just throwing it away.ā But instead he chose to insult me, call me a little punk, while im young working professional with two jobs, my own house and about to get married. I just donāt think it was fair to be targeted and insulted like that especially by the owner, then on top of that embarrassed by security upon trying to gain entry as if I was the only one in parking lot that Had taken a drink. Thereās a way to speak to people, you donāt just judge someone by the way they look, and suggest that they are a punk, and the thing is I know the owner, Iāve spoken with owner before, he has bought me and my family a round of shots inside the club previously at an district lounge event. Wouldnāt have expected to be treated like that and expected a lot more character from owner...

The last two times that I've ordered the same dishes we always have, they've been made different and honestly taste so bad. I followed up and the waitress called the owner who said to ask for a refund through Uber. Obviously Uber Eats said they won't give the refund because it's not their fault it was made poorly. After that I tried calling the restaurant for 2 days and they didn't answer. The waitress initially told me that the cooks are different and they've had complaints.
We ordered again today and spoke to them directly about our previous experience but we were told they can't communicate with the cooks because of a language barrier. Needless to say we realized that the cooks have changed and the food is not the same quality as before. An added bonus is the shrimp buried on my pepper tofu. As a vegetarian, this is another meal wasted.
Denied a refund because the Manager wasn't available. So that's that. Unfortunately we lost our Pickering hot spot to poorly made food and bad...

As for the music, it kept getting cut off every 10 secs. Literally for him to come on the mic to say some nonsense. I get hyping everyone up but that was excessive. You couldn't even dance to the song without being interrupted. You can hear people yelling "stop cutting the music!".
The bathrooms need work. As in they need to be cleaned thoroughly. We got their right at opening so the first ones there and let me tell you the bathroom walls had puke all over them. And it wasn't fresh so it's been there for a while.
Since we had a booth we had our own space. However people were just coming to the booth area and worst off vaping and smoking weed. Since when was that allowed? The bouncers/ security were constantly giving warnings but no one was removed from what we saw.
