Any good review is a paid review here.
The food here is 50/50. Sometimes great sometimes terrible. The days it’s terrible, you better not say a word because they will come for you.
It’s like the owners have never been to a restaurant themselves. If you make any complains about the food, they bring the chef out and berate her infront of you, blaming her for the “loss”. Anytime you say anything the owner will act like you slapped god. They never take any accountability and will force things on you. We ordered a $15 omelette, and it was just 1 plain egg the size of a child’s fist with a paratha the size of my head. On the menu the egg looks like a proper quantity so when we argued they said “we made it so you have to pay for it”
My family just came out of here and we spent over $500 (20+ ppl) and these guys didn’t want to make the omelette situation right. We got the brain which was salty and we went back so they could maybe fix it but instead they said take some yoghurt and fix it yourself.
The lassis are flavoured water. And if you tell them this isnt what a lassi should taste like they’ll tell you this is the best way and we have to drink it.
I’ve unfortunately come here 4 times each time hoping for better service but they just get worst. I order the maghaz (brain) every time for my wife and every time we get it it’s a different size and different taste. Portions get smaller each time. ”
My maghaz was salty so he gives yogurt?!!! Not even offering a quick remake. $500 and these guys fought the heaven and earth to avoid fixing an omelette and a maghaz.
You just lost 5 families who eat out regularly as business. I have NEVER experienced a restaurant with an attitude like this.
Save the chef. It’s not her fault management is garbage. Any complains and the chef gets insulted in front of you. I’m not even kidding I felt so bad for her, girl if you read this, you don’t deserve that you can get a better job and go to labour board for bad working conditions. The owner cannot bring you to do customer service as a chef...
Read moreUpdate after today's meal (10 months later) It breaks my heart to say that I had the absolute worst tasting food from Karachi but today. It was a takeout order so we didn't get to provide immediate feedback to the restaurant.
I ordered chaat paapari, beef seekh kabab, malai not, garlic naan and kheer.
Chaat paapari lacked yogurt base and some crispy paper had a very stale taste as of they were beyond their shelf life. Beef seekh kabob were super dry! Almost brittle. Malai boto was soft yet lacked any flavour. We were told one order contains 7 pieces. The size of the pieces was smaller than bite size. If you cut them even smaller, you could perhaps get even 17 pieces. This sarcasm is out of utter disappointment . The Haleem had no flavour whatsoever. Bland, saltless and very possible that it was protein-less too. Garlic naan were hardee than average. And kheer, we just threw out both kheer orders after taking one bite. It tastes like rice was boiled in firni powder and then removed from the heat to settle as kheer. It was absolutely terrible.. I'm a good 25 min drive from the restaurant. The drive, the time (the order took 45 min from the time I placed it) and the cost ($80 meal) was not worth anything. My family will not be returning to the restaurant. We felt even more miserable after every bite. We dreaded trying kheer and it delivered on disappointment.
Below is my first review from 10 months ago.
What a shame.

September 16th. 2021 Our 1st. Visit to this beautiful authentic Pakistani restaurant in Pickering. We have been always in search of best Pakistani flavored dishes in GTA. Before I start my review I would like to tell very honestly I have no relationship or friendship with anyone at this restaurant. 1st. time walked in and ordered our food. Nihari, Goat Paya and Tandoori Naan. Table service was great, our order served in timely manner. Both dishes were very delicious and quantity of dishes were very generous. Food was served in decent cutlery, specially nowadays due to COVID19 most of our desi restaurant are providing their food in paper plates and plastic utensils. We are so pleased and happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who has the passion for Pakistani food. The ambiance has lots of personal touch. Pictures says it all. Most important part of the business is how you keep your washrooms, one of the cleanest washroom in any Pakistani restaurant I have ever seen. Keep up the good work 👏 Overall 100 out of 100 for sure. Highly recommended to visit 👌 and enjoy the delicious food. Make sure you have enough patients to wait for the mouth watering food. We will definitely be there to try rest of...
