I wish I could put a 0 because it doesn't even deserve 1 star.
My daughter and I went into this store and ordered almost $70.00 in food from this store. We ordered in store for take out and waited in store. The people that ordered in front of us got their order and sat down to eat. My daughter and I were sitting at the front waiting for our number to be called. They called 328, 329, 240 (different till) then 333, 331, 332. The people that were in front of us that got their meals, got up and left cause they were done eating. So I went up to the counter and asked when ours would be ready as we have been waiting for over 10 minutes. She said some guy took one of our bags cause they called the number and he took just one bag. I said we have been sitting here listening and waiting for our number and there was nothing, I heard every other number. She then pretty much said that it wasn't her problem that some other guy took my food. I asked to have my money refunded because I didn't want to wait another 10 minutes for food and have a bag of cold food. She went in the back and got a man who told me they will not refund the money and that one bag was already taken. This made me very upset, I just spent almost $70.00 of my money to have hot food and I have half my order? I told them to give me my one bag of cold food and I would leave but that I would definitely be doing reviews and advising everyone I know not to go to that location. The guy said he would remake the food and to give him 5 mins. I asked if it would all be made fresh and he said yes, so I agreed to wait 5 mins. As I was sitting there waiting I see them making it. I see mine (salmon bowl) being put up top for her to grab and it split and the salmon fell out of the bowl and she put it back in and put the lid on and put it in the bag. By this time I was not even going to say anything because I was livid. She tied up with one bag with the 2 fresh (sorta) meals and then grabbed the other bag that has now been sitting for at least 15 mins to give to me. I said this is not fresh and hot and she said yes it is. I saw you just pulled it from the shelf and it has been sitting there. She again was rude and said it's fresh. I grabbed my meals and left.
I don't understand why they are not looking at peoples receipts to make sure they are giving them their order and not someone else's like McDonald's, Wendy's, etc. How is it the customers fault when someone else grabs the order that isn't theirs? I am very sure she was calling the wrong number. Then to tell me I was wrong and they wouldn't be refunding my money...

Read moreThis edo japan was good. The food was good. The service also was good but a few things I would like to point out. It is not very wheelchair accessible and the isles between the seating are very squished. I think they need to rethink their layout and move around the tables to give more space especially where you line up to order. Even if they take away a table to make space between the tables that would help. I feel like a sardine waiting in the isle though when you order so reconfiguring that would be a good idea. Sorry just my observation. If they can reconfigure their seating to be a bit more open and welcoming I think it would benefit the store. I like their daily specials. You Save abit of money when ordering the specials which unfortunately they don't tell you until you sit down, you are eating and then see the specials on each table. They should inform customers of the daily special.. The service is great and they modify order which is amazing especially when you have picky eaters like me. I like the quick service and they brought the food to our table which was lovely. If you have never had Edo, I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki with rice and the veggie Platter which for 20pcs is very affordable. Read moreLady who served me at the front desk, was extremely rude. I couldn't understand her responses and so asked her politely to explain and she just looked at me so annoyed and disrespectful. Having this rude response can take away the pleasure of enjoying the meal, which is unfortunate. However, despite the service downfall, the food was average. I asked the lady what she recommended as an alternative to rice, and she mentioned thick noodles, so i thought i would try,... Im regretting not getting rice as these noodles were so bland that i had to go home and add additional flavors and sauces of my own. The meal had 4 shrimp, a quarter cup of chicken, 2 broccoli and ALL noodles. So dissapointing as a 1st tine visitor. Because of this, I will no longer be a customer of this location...
